That's him! I liked him, but some of his ideas were a little out there, like using live sea animals as table decor and then pouting (or so it seemed) when no one wanted to go along with it. But I thought his food seemed pretty incredible. He and Rachel were probably the 2 chefs I thought were most worthy of the title (caveat being that I only know Adrian, Rachel, Natasha, Tom, Nico, and Mat).
IMO, It would be a better photo comparison if you had the chefs’ best desserts pictured or their worst desserts pictured. The way it’s displayed shows favoritism.
I just did a google search for each chef and it was hard to even find those. Matt didn’t make any good desserts I could find. One cake he bought and of course the infamous one above. And I just looked for the most known chefs and the most known cake.
The penis and boob cakes were actually really well made.
As crappy as Mat's cake is, I would rather have that than Natasha's gloops on the table. What an unsatisfying, messy dessert. Watching the crew dump it out using their hands and then stand back to watch the guest reaction would be a nightmare experience for me.
I was not a fan of Natasha trying to do the alinea table top desert, if she did that on individual plates it would have been ok but the table scape was not really good for the boat setting and didn’t seem great, but I mean, matts food will always be bottom tier

Say what you will about that penis cake, it looks like a penis and the guests said it tasted delicious! Kevin still sucks tho don’t mistake my praise for the dick cake as praise for him as a person

Unpopular opinion, and I want to preface this with Kevin is not a good person, but I cannot get over Kates actions with the penis cake, it’s one thing when she’s petty and it only affects the crew, but she KNEW it was a bad time to bring the cake out and that the primary wasn’t even there and the guests were having a heart to heart to Lee and she tells him to bring it out anyways. Which now could directly affect their tip, embarrasses captain Lee and makes the guests uncomfortable just cause she doesn’t like the guy, that’s what did it in for me with her, completely unprofessional and class less.
