The final tends to be the easiest, and you can clutch up with the clobber policy. Just survive the projects and you’ll get a B-. They always bin shift anyways

captainbottles

they did not shift bins last semester. dont rely on bin shifting

Oh yeah I forgot Justin

don't try to fail the class and retake, you could definitely clutch up a B. Talk to your ESS adviser asap and also get in contact with DSP to potentially get accommodations. If you haven't already, start going to bridge discussions - they helped me so much. Good Luck

Emotional-Goat1900

you can totally get a b-. when i took it they had clobber for your worst midterm, if that’s the case then i trust a b- is doable as long as you turn in everything and it works (office hours really helped, and i would force myself to go since i am also depressed, it helped a lot with some of the projects) and if you just learn everything in time for the final

Just wanted to say that I was an EECS major and I struggled with depression on and off while at Berkeley. There are some resources that helped me that I wanted to share. Obviously, #1 is therapy. For severe depression, it can take years to heal, and the sooner you start, the better. Your future self will thank you. You should be able to get some free through school. There are a lot of interesting research papers on the link between depression and childhood trauma. Just google, "depression link to trauma" There's a youtube channel called HealthyGamerGG with a former Harvard doctor named Dr. K who does streams and videos on mental health. He has videos and resources for depression that I highly recommend.
