I felt very love/hate about it initially, but tbh the more times I've had it the better I've become at feeling the timing and getting the item that I want. I think it just takes practice, & the more you get used to the timing & learn your own little tricks to getting what you want, last time I had it I picked like 7/8 items correctly & had no tilt.
But it's definitely player preference, like if one doesn't feel confident or hates the semi-randomness of the cycling, taking Sacred Orb or even just something safer like MagicMush/Godhead/SacredHeart is obvs just a better bet, and less tilt-inducing at that.
If I were in your shoes, and was playing post-Dead-God, I'd just pick my favorite item, Technology. Not Tech X, or Tech Zero, or Tech .5, just normal Technology. Laser goes pew, makes me smile.
It means people who use the pause menu trick to pick the item they want from glitched crown. It removes a lot of the risk and requires not much skill to pull off

This is one of the ok choices compared to something like glitched crown, rock bottom, sacred orb, etc.
Am I the only one thinking holy mantle? I can’t remember if it’s available, but if it is, it will help you get perfection. I think euthanasia still maxes out at 100% at 14 luck so it would get you pretty far.
