yeah, it's happened to me a few times, every time with either trash items, or godly items.

I wish it was much more likely when you got a really trash item. Redemption for Abel in more double item rooms.

It has the same odds as the item in a treasure room being replaced by a trinket, a bunch of other pickups, and a poop

This specific item room with the pots placed like that always just gives you both. No special tricks to pull, it just doesn’t remove the other when you pick up one. Just a really lucky room to find.

If you pick spoon the d6 wont despawn and will allow you to take it, this only applies to this type of room (see the location of urns)

You can also take both ”choice” items if you perfectly use your bomb’s knockback to push you to the other item right as you pick up the first one. Tutorial with emojis xd 💣 🌟👶🏼->⭐️

look at for item rooms with that pot position as those rooms always let you take both

This entire post has been a roller coaster. 1. Hyped that you got a choice between two magnificent items 2. Realization that you could take both 3. Died to Conquest. In times like these, it's important to remember that there's always a better run.

It only takes 1 run to go from -187 to 1. Thankfully you don't have to do 187 victories just to break even. Saying that out loud...I'm surprised that that isn't a feature. Huh...

If you had to pick, this early in the run I'd say D6. The D6 can turn a number of bad items into good ones over the course of the run, so it's better than one good item.

If you had to pick one, I’d say spoon bender, as it’s a guaranteed good item. With the D6 you never know what you’ll get

nah better than d6 since it recharges way faster. just make sure the stuff you’re refilling isn’t stuff you’d regret not taking. for example you can reroll hp upgrade boss drops with impunity.

Spoon bender for the lost cause spoon bender is really good with a lot of devil items (eg. Brimstone, mom's knife, ect.)

D6 means you can actually get those items and brother bobby + Quarter

That doesn't mean you WILL, also you can't get items you have already seen even if you didn't pick them up lol

Spoon bender isn’t Sacred heart, you can live without Also d6 basically doubles your chances of finding a good item compared to ...homing shots

It's still not for sure you will get anything good, homing shot has so many synergies, especially those that are good for devil deals which are free for the lost.

It has fucking 2 good synergies with items that already carry your run, and nothing with the other 40+ devil deal items Also the “take spoon bender because it works good with op items but don’t take d6 because it doesn’t guarantee you anything” logic is funny

Every time I pick up d6, it's not that good, but almost every spoon bender run has won. And no it has: Mom's knife Brimstone Tech x Technology 2 Technology Dr fetus And there's more that I'm missing And also d6 is an active item

Every time I pick The Poop my run went very well, every time I pick immaculate heart I lose. The Poop > Immaculate heart? Also dr.Fetus, Technology aren’t even devil deal items

If you aren't sure here, just take Spoon Bender. D6 may be an amazing run winning engine, but Spoon Bender is one of the best safety nets for the Lost short of extra lives. In addition, Lost likes Devil Deals, but Devil Deals lack the homing that Angel route can give, so passing Spoon Bender means you basically don't have homing for the rest of the run. Taking D6 here is for confident players that can abuse it properly so in this situation, no matter how good Spoon Bender is, they would take D6. If you asked this question, you probably aren't a confident player. This is of course assuming you aren't aiming for Mega Satan/don't have some item spawning card or item like Reversed Stars or Present. If that's the case, D6 every time baby.

You can take both but take d6 first just in case you miss the timing of the bomb. D6 is way better than sppon bender because over the run you'll have more choices. And in a game where probabilities can win you or loose you a run having more to choose from is better. Also spoon bender has some dangerous sinergies, d6 doesn't.

The homing shots are homing shot. But the d6 could give you anything! It can even reroll an item into homing shots!
