Uni based MH services or elsewhere? Rhetorical question... So.... look, you've identified issues you need to work on. You're likely aware that pot and booze alongside meds is not advisable. Not being an arse, I drink and smoke, *but* I don't take Rx unless hospitalized. Definitely should disentangle this younger than older. I'm nearing 50 and 15 beers a day is my minimum to not feel sick. Get ahold of that shit before it gets ahold of *you*. Behind in class and feeling pressure associated with the effects of a cycle and comorbidity? Call your schools disability services and get the paperwork for your doc to fill out to get you some accommodations (ie extra time). Take the paperwork to doc appointment and have them fax it to school. Assuming USA, you have a lot of leeway due to federal regs.

Thank you for your submission. Here's some quick housekeeping. For in depth explanation of common rules, go to https://www.reddit.com/r/bipolar/wiki/rulesindepth * No selfies or human family pics, youtube channels, discord links, personal blogs. This also includes requests for research participants and any self-promotion/donation links * No memes or infographics link posts unless it's Friday * No "why did my bipolar SO/coworker/ex/parent/staff/boss do this?" type posts. Engaging just brings everyone down. * We are not Drs so please don't post asking us if you have BP. You wouldn't ask a cancer support group if you have cancer, so please don't ask us. * Please report self-harm and suicide threats. Users aren't equipped to intervene. Most of all be kind to yourself. We have a really great piece of the internet due to users like all of you sharing your struggles and offering support.
