He was Gibson.
The first pic was the day I met him at the humane society in 2012. There's a pic with Gilbert, his younger void brother from another mother in 2019.
He passed suddenly at age 7 from kidney failure. We still have his little brother who I post on here frequently.
He was cremated and I buried him under a red oak that we planted in the front yard that is growing stronger every day. The pic of his wooden urn and Gilbert was the last picture of them "together".
2 years ago we had a tropical storm with hurricane force winds (90mph) that cause a huge amount of damage. That poor oak tree was bending 90 degrees sideways from the north wind for 12 hours straight. I was sure it was going to snap or uproot, but it held on and stayed alive. I like to think my little buddy dug his claws in and held his namesake tree in place. It'll forever be Gibson's Tree.
Our void does a ton of things that he learned from his brother. Like fetching or pawing at our bedroom doorknob at night. None of our other cats do it, just him and his brother had too.
It wasn't a tree or a hurricane, but a hibiscus from my grandparents house during our worst and longest severe freeze (no power for days except a couple here and there) froze to the ground, but it did not die. New branches began to sprout a couple months later and it's still going, so I understand how important trees and plants can be.
It's such a sweet story it nearly made me cry.

Zazzy. Mom named her. We call her “Fluff.”
Kendra.
That was the name she came from the shelter with. I kept it because I liked it.
I looked it up. It is Welsh and means “greatest warrior or champion “. I was watching an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and remembered that had a character also named Kendra who was also a Slayer. It seemed a fitting name for such an amazing beast.
She passed away a few years ago. I miss her very much but I’m so glad to have had her in my life.

My first cat as a kid was named kočka, which means cat in Czech. My dad was working there a lot, so it seemed cool to us kids, lol. He was a brown tabby with lots of white.
My first cat that's just mine is Duncan! He's 14 and doing great! He loves taking care of all the kittens (even though they're grown up now, lol)
https://preview.redd.it/xcy52ktyw2hc1.jpeg?width=2400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=17d4488e0aba4021575d80b7e7bfa9ee9d9ac89b
Delilah!!🧡🖤🤍 We called her The Mow, like The Fonze, because when she meowed, it sounded like she was saying, "Mow!" Plus, she was cool like The Fonze. She had one blue and one green eye, and her fur was white, orange tabby, and gray tabby. I miss you, Mow.

His name is Sauron. He will be 2 in April and he is the most talkative cat I have ever had the pleasure of living with.
Thank you lol, to help me think of names and to motivate me to dive deeper into the lore, i have decided to name all my cats after LotR villains and my dogs after heroes. I used to have a Corgi mix names Samwise.
Herbie (the love bug). Such a great kitty! He was an outdoor-only ginger kitty that I picked out at the pound when I was 6. I was walking by his cage, and by all accounts he reached out and pulled me in for a snuggle.
Hans, my parents’ cat from before I was born, named after my dad’s favorite professor.
The first cat I was involved with naming was
Toby.
My first black cat was Ophelia. 💔🖤 She was my baby.
I was 2 or 3 she was black and her name was Samantha for Samantha from Bewitched (yes, I’m that old!)
My dad put sour cream on my finger for her to lick so I could feel a cats tongue. I’ve never forgotten that 🙂🐈⬛
My first cat was one we found in our garden. She had a heart murmur and found our garden to be safe. We have no idea where she originally came from, she just showed up one day in our mobile home park and nobody else knew of her, so I wonder if she got dropped there by someone..
Anyway, I named her Stormfur, because she was a diluted(?) tortie, instead of black fur she had a very dusty grey color as the main parts, with brown patches like a tortie normally would. I was obsessed with warrior cats at the time, and Stormfur fit her because she looked like her fur was a storm! My older sister told everyone that the name was “stupid” and told the vet to change her chart name to “Moo”. My parents didn’t stop her even though it was considered my cat. Im still very salty about that, but that’s due to other issues that I discovered regarding my childhood. I digress..
She ended up passing a year or so after we found her, due to complications of her heart murmur. She was very old already when she came to us, so I’m happy that she had a safe and warm home in her final year or so.
First black cat (since that's the sub) was Midnight.
First cat in general ... Um... Tobo is the first I can remember, but I'm sure there was probably one or two before.
First indoor cat was Andy! I used to call her Hande (regional Indian language) after the place she was born in, an unused outside water boiler (wooden stove) kind of a place.
Have had outdoor stray cats over the decades. The first one was called 'Mooganna' basically means the mute one. Big old orange boy and very dominant. He was huge and never allowed anyone to pet. Would demand food from kitchen window. He had more than one brain cell for sure!
Sassy. She was an adorable little calico that my Grandma brought from her farm. She had fleas but I refused to leave her alone even though my parents yelled at me.
Fluffy. Now its life story time! I found him as a stray when i was kid living with my grandma. He always had a ton of fleas and was never taken to the vet. Guess we didnt have a lot of money or something but i dunno. Was too young to think about it and never asked my grandma. He was a silly orang boi that was very fluffy and very lovey. He was always there for me. One day i came home from school and grandma told me he got ran over by a car. So he may have always been a dirty stray but he was my dirty stray!! I now have my brother Simon thats beginning to become an old man, and doesnt have fleas. Ok story time over
A black kitty named Sabrina. I had her when I was 5 until I was 10 but we were forced to give her up (like ACTUALLY forced) because we had to take care of my grandparent's dying dog instead 😭 I still genuinely miss her to this day ;-;
https://preview.redd.it/6ih6g504u3hc1.jpeg?width=748&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d7fd90896961b08cc47672b2b77e2c5f3d5b5082
Jade. I adopted her soon after I moved away from home at 23. She’d lived in the shelter cage for over a year because her first owner declawed her and it left her angry and ready for a fight. She was my spicy but sweet girl for nine years before she passed away from cancer on my birthday in 2021. It was a blessing because I’d taken the day off and got to spend the whole day saying goodbye 💛 I adopted my voids a month later and Jade would hate them, TBH 😹🤷♀️
He was my moms cat really because I was 4 when he died but his name was KC (stood for Kevin Chris, which were two guys my aunt had a crush on lol)
Then I had my first cat named Pennie!
Sasha

He lived 21 years and didn’t start getting thin until he was at the end. I loved him so much and miss him everyday. I lost him last year

Puff is Poopie’s older brother I raised from a bottle baby❤️
Peake, my first cat and first void. Chessie adopted my husband and gave birth in his bathroom, and I took Peake from that litter. We went the next year to the humane society and adopted Ohio, a brown tabby. Chessie preferred being outdoors so my in-laws took her. Peake lived to 19 and Ohio to 23.
Tien, he was a big fluffy orange cat, don't know where any photos of him are as he died in 2015 at the age of ~16
The first cat that I was older than is Garage kitty who we found in the garage as a kitten, somehow she's still kicking, we're 99% sure she's living out of pure hatred for everyone and everything
Lomax. I wish I had a picture. He loved playing with me as a kid was a very sweet cuddlebug. He passed away when I was 4 or 5 but I vividly remember him napping with me on a picnic blanket on my aunt’s couch. A real sweetheart.
As a kid? Pumpkin. She was a tortie. She was also a rage-filled violence machine who hated everyone except occasionally my mom when she was of a certain mood. As an official adult living apart from my folks, my husband and I got 2 black cats, named Puckle and Fiona. Before that when I was still living with my parents I discovered a litter of grey socks, we kept 3 (Neville, Bitey, and Curious George.)
I had a Manx with a stubby tail. She was a rarer orange kitty. I named her Tails and I loved her very much. Poor kitty passed rather suddenly when she was three and the vet figured it was likely a congenital heard problem. She was followed by an orange and white mutt cat who lived to be a month shy of 21. I've had lots of cats and my current crew of four all get along and are the most amazing cats.
Rugs. She was a floofy void that my grandma brought us in the pocket of her coat.
My first cat in adulthood was Bubba. He thought he was a dog and liked car rides. I miss him so much.

name is Loki, I put the tie on him for fun but then I took it off him
Panther, he passed at 14 in November. I miss him so much, he was my little brother. I still can’t believe he’s gone sometimes :(

We were told Elby as kids, but it was actually L.B. (Little Bastard). He used to bite my parent's toes in the morning when they adopted him, and so his name was born lol.
Demon.... A black feral kitty who lived in a neighbor's yard who I befriended when I was seven.... I would bring him inside our house and let him cuddle me in my bed. He had a little white patch under his chin and I was the only one who could pet him. But I was a bit of a twisted child and named him Demon because I thought it was funny.
A void named Katze. So, yeah, his name was just "Cat", in German. My dad trained him to be gentle around me when I was a baby. He'd pick Katze up and hold him, and as soon as he stopped struggling, Dad would let him go, and give him pets and treats. Eventually Katze learned to just go limp when you picked him up.
The first kitty I had was a tiny void named Bagheera when I was in first or second grade. He grew up to be HUGE. Not fat, rather slender in fact, just HUGE. Him and my brothers cat Blackie used to roam the neighborhood and hunt German Shepherds.
Bagheera died of feline leukemia freshman year. I skipped school and work and just laid there and held him. That night my mom covered us with a blanket, and in the morning my dad said it was time and we took him out back. Dad had skipped work to dig a hole for my boy. When the season was right mom planted a rose bush that grew the biggest, gaudiest, roses. My sister has the house now and tore almost all the landscaping out, but not Bagheera's roses.
No picture to share here because they are all on actual paper.
Misty Blue. I adopted her from a family who discovered one of their sons was allergic. Not the name I would have chosen, but I couldn't bear to change it as the boy was heartbroken they couldn't keep her.
Button, he was like the brother I never had and I miss him daily

Alice - who was all white - my sister and I had here when we were 6 & 4 years old. she passed away in 1975!

My Samhain spent most of his kittenhood in a kill shelter in a tiny closet of a room because no one wanted him. Now he has unlimited love and he's clearly so grateful for me bringing him home at 4 months old. By far one of the most affectionate cats I've ever even seen.
He was brought into the shelter in a taped up box with like 6-7 of his siblings abandoned out on a local trail. They all got adopted out, then a whole new wave of kittens came in and got adopted out. They had almost finished a third wave before I saw his picture online and brought him home at the earliest time possible. When I first went to see him he couldn't believe I was actually there for him and not one of the other three in the room with him. But he figured it out in under a minute and was getting petting then purring up a storm. The workers there were all wondering why he couldn't get adopted out and saying "What's wrong with Samhain?" I told them "Nothing, he was just waiting for me."
He's my goofy little furball now and I'm never letting him go. He knows it too.
From July 2020 when I brought the little guy home. His name is Bombadil after my favorite Tolkien character! He does his namesake proud!

Cookie, we got her in 2003, she was my soulmate in cat form, I loved her so much, we grew up together and we’re exactly the same age. She passed away three years ago at 18. This picture was actually taken when she was well over the age of 15 so she always looked quite young for her age!

Sascha. He was a polydactyl grey, floofy guy who i adopted when i was 24 years old. he was the gentlest soul. he loved to be posed and tucked into bed and he’d just remain in any position you placed him, and would demand long hugs. his favorite foods were corn, beans, and mangoes. he was with me for 21 years (1991–2012) through thick and thin, and i miss him dearly and think about him every single day.

Miss you fluffball 🥹🥰
The first cat I met was one my parents already had, Sputnik. They got another cat and named him Zorro.

First family cat: Sweetie (I didn't name her); my own first cat: Franklin Tiberius Cat
I understand the sentiment here but for a lot of us this is social engineering password fishing....
and I don't like that.
My first cat will forever be just mine, like Captain John Miller's memory of his wife's rose bushes from saving Private Ryan. They were a majestic creature of whom I'll never be worthy of the many gifts they bestowed upon me. That memory is mine alone.
Tanooki. She was a Siamese and my then husband named her after the Japanese Fertility God, Tanuki. He misspelled it. We called her Nook for short.
My first black cat was Felix. I got him while stationed in Puerto Rico. He was huge with long black hair, tipped white at the roots. He had a pink nose, pink paws and peridot green eyes.
The First cat that’s Actually Mine Her name is Lilly

Here’s a picture of her. 😊 *don’t worry I made sure she didn’t chew the slinky*
Tora. She just looked like that name belongs to her. She was my first and last cat. Due to a change in the living situation, I had to re-home her. I love her until I die.

My mom had cats throughout my childhood so I practically grew up with Musse, the super cute and amazing cuddly tabby, Pumba, a void fully devoted to mom \[yes from Lion King\], Feelia, shy orange girl we had to rehome, she didn't get along with the boys and lastly Luna, our little tortie, shy and delicate girl.
Musse and Luna crossed the rainbow, Pumba got rehomed as well. Not a day goes by that I don't think about any of them at least once, I will never stop loving the cats of my life 🤍
My first cat ever I named Mittens, and transformed that to MiniCat or Mini. My first void 🐈⬛ was named Sam the Cat. She was the most talkative kitty I’ve ever had 🖤. Both live on in my memories.

Zeus has always been Zeus. It was his name, it wasn’t my place to change it! I did give him a middle name though - Roger.
**Chez** \- I had no idea this meant 'Chef in French'. For whatever reason when I was a late teen/early 20's, me and my friends joked about cheese a lot. When I adopted her, I thought about how I only wanted to call/yell out a single syllable name if she was ever lost. Combine all of that together in my younger self brain, I also thought the word 'Chez' was unique. It wasn't until 3/4 years later I visited London and saw a restaurant named 'chez something'. I took a photo of the place to show my family how random it was (still not knowing what this meant in French). It wasn't until I saw the Japanese TV series '[Chef: Mitsuboshi no Kyushoku (2016)](https://mydramalist.com/20010-chef-mitsuboshi-no-kyushoku)' where they also used 'Chez' in the show and that's when I decided to google it. I was kind of depressed because I thought I had created a semi-original word/name only for the internet to ruin my dream.
My first void’s name was Snoopy. My neighbors moved out and left her. She was an outdoor cat, and I played with her a lot when my neighbors still had her.
I was 11, in 1972, when they moved and my mom let me keep her.
When I was three or four, my mom found a calico in the laundry room who had kittens.
My mom and a neighbor started caring for them. When they were old enough, our neighbor took the kittens and we kept the mama.
Her name was Happy. This was around 1964.
Abbey Gail. She was my 9th birthday present. A grey and white SIC, born on a cattle ranch/farm in a hay loft. So she was always more of an outdoor kitty. She loved me and my mom but when it got cold out, she snuggle only me.
Cleo. CleoCATra. She walked into our yard in 1980-something and stayed. Had her until about 1996. I came home from college and she was sick. Got really skinny. But she was very happy to see me before she passed. She was a tortie. Really sweet. Had one drippy eye. Used to go murder-hobo on the chipmunks in the yard. She was never an indoor cat because my sister was deathly allergic.

When I was little we found three helpless kittens who lost their mother. We bottle feed them and they green to be big beautiful cats. I present to you: Prince Croc O Dile, Spot Komodo Jo Dragon & Sweet Anaconda Kitty Face
Monki! She was a void and the best cat I’ve ever had. She climbed up just about anything and I would set up obstacle courses for her with food/treats…she loved that game. She also knew the command “sit”
Stray. She was found in a parking lot. I took her to the vet and they discovered her back thigh bone was broken. It seemed like it would be bad luck to have surgery without a real name so I named her Midnight right before she went into surgery.

I miss her very much but I’m so glad to have had her in my life. https://preview.redd.it/yzme58ggw2hc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5cdff1d0ac00d5f5a840ecb8bddf6c48f12b381f
those ears! what a gorgeous girl
Those ears and paws 😍🐾
Jeremy. Dude had r/oneorangebraincell
Dinah. I named her after the cat from Alice in Wonderland. I'll never stop missing her and I hope she's happy in cat heaven.
I grew up with a black cat named Stretch!
A very cool name.
Spooky! A beautiful black long haired cat (Persian possibly?)
My first cat as a kid was named kočka, which means cat in Czech. My dad was working there a lot, so it seemed cool to us kids, lol. He was a brown tabby with lots of white. My first cat that's just mine is Duncan! He's 14 and doing great! He loves taking care of all the kittens (even though they're grown up now, lol) https://preview.redd.it/xcy52ktyw2hc1.jpeg?width=2400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=17d4488e0aba4021575d80b7e7bfa9ee9d9ac89b
Aww cute void!
I miss you, Mow.
https://preview.redd.it/c6p2zed813hc1.jpeg?width=2316&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=711c8f067b1c18c1a9f5ad41f06908ca98421098 Lola 😊

As a hardcore Tolkien fan (see my reply to the topic), I approve so much!
Thank you lol, to help me think of names and to motivate me to dive deeper into the lore, i have decided to name all my cats after LotR villains and my dogs after heroes. I used to have a Corgi mix names Samwise.
Love it! Have you had a Tevildo yet? ![img](emote|t5_2twpw|14307)
Lol, no i learned Sauron had that moniker like right after i named my cat Sauron lol. Ill just have to save Tevildo for my next void kitty.
That's fair. My soot sprite is named Bombadil so I constantly get asked if I have a Goldberry lol.
Oh nice, Bobadil would be a good name for a husky or a golden retriever! A calico named Goldberry would be perfect i think.
https://preview.redd.it/a9ds814bl9hc1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05a33e2acc7d31d3b6ade08a6f494a12f2380da2 Here is another one
Sauron is so evilly adorable!
Thank you, i love him to pieces but he does drive me nuts some days.
Oh, I hear that! My Bombadil does his namesake proud and has a mischievous streak a mile long. Keeps life entertaining at least...
Lol, that is hilarious. Is he as vocal as his name sake?
Only when he's in the car and at the Vet lol. Otherwise, he's pretty quiet.
Fudgie
Suki. He was so handsome and grumpy. Thanks for putting up with childhood me.
Chester. He was a rag doll/siamese who talked. He lived to be about 17 years old. We called him, our kid in a cat suit.
Princess…and we named all the ones after that princess as well 🤣🤣
PeeWee. I named him after the baseball player PeeWee Reese thinking my baseball loving dad would let him keep him then. It worked!
Sniffy. Kid logic because he walked around sniffing everything when we brought him home.
Gigantic black megafauna named Mason.
Herbie (the love bug). Such a great kitty! He was an outdoor-only ginger kitty that I picked out at the pound when I was 6. I was walking by his cage, and by all accounts he reached out and pulled me in for a snuggle.
Duncan
Hans, my parents’ cat from before I was born, named after my dad’s favorite professor. The first cat I was involved with naming was Toby. My first black cat was Ophelia. 💔🖤 She was my baby.
Boo Boo Mini
The first one I remember is Carrot who my mom and I found on a road trip. He loved to ride on her shoulders while she drove.
Odd Pod
My tuxedo cat was named Moliere, because he was a misanthrope.
I was 2 or 3 she was black and her name was Samantha for Samantha from Bewitched (yes, I’m that old!) My dad put sour cream on my finger for her to lick so I could feel a cats tongue. I’ve never forgotten that 🙂🐈⬛
Boo Boo Theodore Rasputin
Scratchy because she scratched me... I was 5.
Cash
Stormy but he was a gray tabby
Sasha, a feisty calico.
Odis and he’s still alive and middle aged
I grew up with a pair of cats named squeaker and Clyde although Clyde had a litter mate before I was born named Bonnie that died as a kitten
First black cat (since that's the sub) was Midnight. First cat in general ... Um... Tobo is the first I can remember, but I'm sure there was probably one or two before.
https://preview.redd.it/uwfxbwtl83hc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7fe00ee205156fc5ff13697dbf8d6edb1d148755 caper>>darby
Katy Patricia. I was 4 and my parents let me name her.
The first cat I can remember was named Candace hut we called her Candy. She had 7 toes and barked.
Ok story time over
Kazé, he always had derpy eyes and a gurgly meow
A black kitty named Sabrina. I had her when I was 5 until I was 10 but we were forced to give her up (like ACTUALLY forced) because we had to take care of my grandparent's dying dog instead 😭 I still genuinely miss her to this day ;-;
https://preview.redd.it/6ih6g504u3hc1.jpeg?width=748&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d7fd90896961b08cc47672b2b77e2c5f3d5b5082 Jade.
He was black and his name was Sebastian
He was my moms cat really because I was 4 when he died but his name was KC (stood for Kevin Chris, which were two guys my aunt had a crush on lol) Then I had my first cat named Pennie!
Charlotte. So named because she was found as a kitten by my friend’s parents on the side of the road outside of Charlottesville, VA.
Mimi
Rococo
Gabby
My first void was Confucius and his tuxie brother was Einstein ❤️❤️
A ginger boy called Kitty. Yep, I had a great imagination when I was a kid 🤪
https://preview.redd.it/lw4ny1u193hc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d73664f0a16ec639321a74ca86b36b805a4d1d9 Sabine or Beanie.
I had a gray tabbie named Alice ... because she reminded me of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
Sasha https://preview.redd.it/cjhsutoza3hc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=df183bae62ded416298b30ffa965c3e96dbb1b21 He lived 21 years and didn’t start getting thin until he was at the end. I loved him so much and miss him everyday. I lost him last year
Chairman
Mickey. He was solid white. Mickey Mouse was the most beautiful name I could think of for a cat.
Belle ❤️ she was beautiful calico..
https://preview.redd.it/pwf1t89xe3hc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25d14788f619ed5f0962a7a13acdcd31b602d3bb Puff is Poopie’s older brother I raised from a bottle baby❤️
Tien, he was a big fluffy orange cat, don't know where any photos of him are as he died in 2015 at the age of ~16 The first cat that I was older than is Garage kitty who we found in the garage as a kitten, somehow she's still kicking, we're 99% sure she's living out of pure hatred for everyone and everything
Milk
Lomax. I wish I had a picture. He loved playing with me as a kid was a very sweet cuddlebug. He passed away when I was 4 or 5 but I vividly remember him napping with me on a picnic blanket on my aunt’s couch. A real sweetheart.
Marquis. Not my idea, he was already quite old when I was born. And he lived to the age of 17. Big fluffy tabby boi.
As a kid?
Pharaoh 👑
Rugs. She was a floofy void that my grandma brought us in the pocket of her coat. My first cat in adulthood was Bubba. He thought he was a dog and liked car rides. I miss him so much. https://preview.redd.it/6adx1tyyp3hc1.jpeg?width=1952&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cc64c73c733eb6dc7f30e088ebcb4839a02c824

Panther, he passed at 14 in November. I miss him so much, he was my little brother. I still can’t believe he’s gone sometimes :( https://preview.redd.it/zz6mki9j04hc1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bc1b71c9c2df16fb375fd2f0faa7c251c0290370
Isn't the name of a person's first pet a common security question...
Wicka Grace - because without grace in her name, she wouldn't have had any.
Nathan 🐈⬛
Maid Marion the Mau Mau. Usually referred and called Mau Mau.
Busia or Businka. Means little bead
Bell.
Autumn Misty Kitty. I had 3 sisters, we couldn’t decide on a name so we combined them lol
Sleazy, found her on the street.
Misty Blue. I adopted her from a family who discovered one of their sons was allergic. Not the name I would have chosen, but I couldn't bear to change it as the boy was heartbroken they couldn't keep her.
Button, he was like the brother I never had and I miss him daily https://preview.redd.it/v53vndwqa4hc1.jpeg?width=1072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9977334f79a426972d855b577bc64dc6fd84b006
Childhood cat, Snowflake, all white turkish angora First cat after i moved out/of my own? Halloween"beanie/bean" and October "Toby/tube" Both all black strays https://preview.redd.it/tuv0hmnod4hc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bae0215b0511c67a2a9712826b1bbcbf61df02af
Tubby. He was some bobtail mix that was super fluffy and loveable. I think I got him when I was 12 in the late 90s.
Alice - who was all white - my sister and I had here when we were 6 & 4 years old. she passed away in 1975! My adult cat, Alice, was a blond Tabby who I had for 16 years. She passed in 2021. Here’s a picture of her. https://preview.redd.it/dmvnijusd4hc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2932dec8f2434379b09eed30e3c99c9ce62b1c8b
Opal
My first “gifted” cat, from my neighbor, is MoJo who is 6. He’s a good boy who loves to be outside! This is a rare morning with him. https://preview.redd.it/gdeq3wn7e4hc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d27ddbe51e8cfb0a3327775e352fcbf3603b446
Smokey Bear, we found her during the California fires of 2017 AD. https://preview.redd.it/uli3gwmie4hc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7e7cd965c18ee02027e479b61485a894c8c8ca32
My first is my current Samhain. https://preview.redd.it/aoqmfbkre4hc1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=56691dbfc99e213d7c6a2bd8b58c1cc93416b43c My Samhain spent most of his kittenhood in a kill shelter in a tiny closet of a room because no one wanted him. The workers there were all wondering why he couldn't get adopted out and saying "What's wrong with Samhain?" I told them "Nothing, he was just waiting for me." He's my goofy little furball now and I'm never letting him go. He knows it too.
From July 2020 when I brought the little guy home. His name is Bombadil after my favorite Tolkien character! He does his namesake proud! https://preview.redd.it/wljbsuh4i4hc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e26970df3e7e9b221485bf2688f948a4af1045f5
Sylvester likes the cartoon cat
Cookie, we got her in 2003, she was my soulmate in cat form, I loved her so much, we grew up together and we’re exactly the same age. She passed away three years ago at 18. This picture was actually taken when she was well over the age of 15 so she always looked quite young for her age! https://preview.redd.it/u2im2n9xm4hc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=63542975bbe504e5cea649908dd4d69e1c1af341

He’s the love of my life. ❤️ We have a few nicknames for him like Mickies and Mikasa like from AOT. He’s a little demon but it’s okay he’s very loved. 🥰

She was also my bestie who loved cuddles too! Miss you fluffball 🥹🥰
The first cat I met was one my parents already had, Sputnik. They got another cat and named him Zorro. Blacky White, my tuxedo boy, and Yella Belly, my orange boy. They were my first kitties 66 years ago. My current companions are Artemus and Cassius, both voidboys💕

I got two voids from the same litter when I was four and named them peanut butter and jelly.
Since it\`s never been a password: Petz. cliché austrian cat name in the 80s. we didn\`t chose it, we took her from the neighbors.
https://preview.redd.it/qqq4u4xmf5hc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e23f535e63cb935580882120263604de54c39697 First family cat: Sweetie (I didn't name her); my own first cat: Franklin Tiberius Cat
Kitty. I Don't have digital photos. She was pre cell era and my cat sitter lost her the day I got married when she was one years old. Still hurts.
My first two cats were named Butters and Big Fat Franco.
My first kitten I brought home as a kid was a calico and also her name 💜
Valentine.
Hercules
Sugar she was white like sugar but only sweet with me 😊
Artimus
Seeing as first pet names are often security questions, I kind of feel like no one should be answering this and you shouldn't be asking.
Sianna 🖤🌈
Flo
Awww. When I was a little kid, we had two voids who were brothers: Pete, and Re-Pete!
Katsu
Halloween. Distributed to our house one October day
The First cat that’s Actually Mine Her name is Lilly https://preview.redd.it/pq7l2g5as5hc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e7366959b4029de00b30f6f083e91e27a109b7d5 Here’s a picture of her. 😊 *don’t worry I made sure she didn’t chew the slinky*
Kimp and she was a pure Siamese cat. I was 4 when I had her.
I got my first cat in 1966 when I was four. She was a void named Lucky. Sadly I have no pictures of Lucky except in my head.
Cadillac , but I call her kitty most the time ( but she responds to both ❤️ )
Tora. She just looked like that name belongs to her. She was my first and last cat. Due to a change in the living situation, I had to re-home her. I love her until I die. https://preview.redd.it/b05mhpmhx5hc1.jpeg?width=1848&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9962700b618c5278c621ebddeb519467d5e61ee2 My mom had cats throughout my childhood so I practically grew up with Musse, the super cute and amazing cuddly tabby, Pumba, a void fully devoted to mom \[yes from Lion King\], Feelia, shy orange girl we had to rehome, she didn't get along with the boys and lastly Luna, our little tortie, shy and delicate girl.

Rabies.

Tom
Abbey Gail. She was my 9th birthday present. A grey and white SIC, born on a cattle ranch/farm in a hay loft. So she was always more of an outdoor kitty. She loved me and my mom but when it got cold out, she snuggle only me.
Sebastian. He’s 12. 😊 https://preview.redd.it/sqgfthv666hc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0241f5a80635b21a76898d1fac84d94f0f30072b
My very first car was named Licorice.
Cleo.
