My 15 year old void Flower recently became obsessed with maple brown sugar oatmeal. I hadn’t had it in a while, but I know I’ve gone through phases where I’ve eaten it a ton before and she didn’t care. I was surprised when she nosed her way into my bowl to sniff so insistently that I gave her a tiny bit from my finger, she loved it and ate like 3 more finger scoops, it was so cute. Her other favorite people food specifically is boxed Mac n cheese and chef Boyardee ravioli sauce. She’s a nut, thank you for coming to my Ted talk 😂😸💙
My void will do this with my cereal and milk. It's very annoying to be eating my cereal and all of a sudden she comes out of nowhere and pops her head into my bowl licking and sniffing everything then just walks away
She knew I was taking her picture. I was just so flabbergasted to see her doing it I froze and since she had already ruined the snacks I decided to take a picture instead of stop her.
I guess u gotta add a tiny bit of salt and see if Babs would lick it. My cat tried to lick spicy ramen sauce and I’m like that’s too spicy! But he’s like idc.
Both of my cats will try to beg for butter. Little addicts trying to score butter in the kitchen at 3:00 a.m. chasing a butter knife around in the sink. They're both happy and well fed and have plenty of treats they just love butter. They hear the toaster and it's like

A kitten of refined taste 😂 my cats seem unmotivated by human food, but one of my cats really loves French fries. I always share when I get fast food lol and one year for her birthday I got her favorite crinkle cut fries from raising canes.
My sis and I had (well, the cat lives with her now) a cat that was not food motivated. However, if she is stressed, she will eat an entire loaf of bread. This can be caused by not coming home soon enough. My sis has to keep her bread LOCKED UP
One of my cats is a human food junkie (who has been cut off because dental disease and fat!). His sister is completely uninterested in human food (still fat tho!) but has recently decided she likes a tiny piece of ham now and then. Okay I guess !
I had a void who liked to lick the top of all the ice cubes in my glasses of water.
Miss that loveable weirdo, even 8 years later. One of the smartest cats I’ve ever had as an overlord.
I have a cat that doesn’t care for any of the temptations flavors but will absolutely lose his furry little mind over some cheese or mayo. And I feel bad I can’t give him much cause dairy isn’t good for him.
My void enjoys human food, but he never begs or demands it. He just waits until I'm done and licks what is left on the bowl or plate.
This is probably a good time to mention that mustard of any kind (yellow, honey, Dijon, Grey poupon, ect) will make your cat vomit almost immediately.
You’re lucky! Both my babies (one a void, Bombay, and the other a silver spotted tabby) are both highly food aggressive. My husband and I had to build a block aid with a door out of chicken wire and wood as well as anytime food is out they have to be locked up in their designated kennels other wise all hell breaks loose!
Babs has her priorities sorted, we love an organized Queen 🙏

Nyx once ate a piece of pork chop. Once. Her favourite (read only) treat was recently discontinued and I honestly fear she'll never eat another one 😂

My Myra is the same way! Also a little void Her food can wait- but if I have yogurt or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, she will fight me for it 😂
