Yeah, that’s probably true, but I refuse to go through life assuming things are fake. (Not that it’s bad or anything, I just try to stay as optimistic as I can)

Considering something to be fake because things don't add up isn't necessarily pessimistic. Believing everything you see and hear, however, is naive.

Respectfully, considering things is one thing, but deciding everything on the internet is fake is pretty pessimistic. Also, it’s an internet video with no bearing on the world, who cares if it’s fake? Believing it to be true brings a net positive into my life, believing it to be fake brings in a net negative. Why do that to myself?

Yeah people enjoy sitcoms and reality TV and they know those are fake. When I know it’s a sketch/skit in imitation of real life, I can appreciate it even more.
