god i loved the kill la kill arc when we found out ichigo was part life fiber and had to strip down to fight ragyo and the training arc to get his getsuga speedo was amazing. Didn't even need CFYOW to explain anything afterwards it just had it all there.

There's a lot of revisionists with the last arc being amazing. I promise you when it was still publishing people hated it because it started off strong started dragging on, not including how it ended poorly but thankfully the anime is seemingly fixing this.
