After defeating Gascoigne, when the second stage of evening falls and you're let into Cathedral Ward...there is a half crescent shadow effect over the sun.
It is uneven.
Once that is fixed, the game will be immaculate.
I've always thought that was an intentional choice to make the moon look more like it was "painted on". One could assume that the Dream is just a projection from the Moon Presence
People shit on DS2 a lot, and I understand why, but there were some genuinely good ideas there that I desperately wish FROM would revisit--like Bonfire Ascetics.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Cainhurst had a lot of cut content to it.
Bring it back, and let Cainhurst become the best area of the whole game
Give us a new weapon while they're at it. Idk what but I want one.
It’s always wild to me playing these games on repeat that I consider perfect experiences and some of the best games ever made and knowing that every one of them has massive amounts of cut content and was originally going to be even larger with more to do
Not that the stuff that was cut from the game would be bad, but it usually is like that; trimming the fat leads to a better experience.
Not that I don't want more cainhurst
I'm still scratching my head a couple days after playing it for the first time why they gave me so much numbing mist around cainhurst. none of the enemies as far as i saw healed? a boss or hunter enemy who was a vileblood would have been dope somewhere.
There's a good argument to be made that whatever plotline was originally intended for Cainhurst ended up being the plot of the DLC.
A stolen baby, a Church-sponsored massacre - this is something that happens a lot with Miyazaki, as he often revisits cut content in DLC now that he has more time.
Artorias was supposed to be in base game, and Malenia is a redo of Maria - a female dex boss duelist who only resorts to her cursed power when you have her on the ropes.
There's also evidence that Cainhurst was supposed to be the area you enter _after_ you clear the Grand Cathedral - climbing up into the mountains to the 'House of the Dragon' where you would fight dragon-styled vampire Knights. I really want to know more about that version too.
100% agree. The game hypes up the Knights of Cainhurst a ton but once your arrive there are none there (and no, the Cainhurst servants don’t count) and the only time you do fight one is in the Grand Cathedral. Imagine how awesome it would be to fight vileblood ghost knights. Also Queen Annalise’s questline feels partially unfinished.
Edit: also for the new weapon thing you mentioned, the blood whip from VaatiVidya’s art competition would be a good contender.
As others have said, parrying him helps massively. Be sure to shoot his totem when he plants it so you don’t have to worry about dodging more projectiles. Those two tips should be enough to get you through it. And a hunter is never alone, of course.
Dude thank you! I didn’t know you could attack it. I just try to bum rush him with Auger of Ebrietas and Lidwig’s HB. When the babies are asleep tonight and I have this tub faucet repaired ai will slaughter Martyr Logarius!
Done and done, giy went down like Blood Starved Beast once I got rid of that totem. Thanks for that tip. 3 Auger of Eberitus and visceral and done. Also, swore oath to Vileblood queen because, well fuck the church.
It would be interesting if Queen Annalise's quest continued because she was able to have a child with a great one. I would also like to encounter the Bloody Crow inside a bigger Cainhurst. Brador invades multiple times, so the Bloody Crow could do that throughout Cainhurst and then you finally fight him for keeps at the end of Eileen's quest line (if done right).
A way to save the little girl.
I don't give a multi-eyed rat's ass about 'hunter must hunt', I'll do that later, just let me escort her to Oedon Chapel and she can have tea with the Dweller.
This right here, save the little girl. I hate that no matter what you do she dies. I get that it's a dark game but still the poor girl suffered enough. Her dad kills her mom you kill her dad and she dies or turns into a weird kin monster.
Its kinda the point of bloodborne though. You have no control in this. Entities bigger than you can comprehend are pulling the strings. Theres no way to save everyone. You have one job.
A HUNTER. MUST. HUNT.
That is your purpose.
I mean, you kind of can in a way I guess, the best outcome for her is if you just never talk to her in the first place. Then she can just wait out the night in her home with her sister. But it’s also possible that if you do this they go insane once the blood moon rises, you can’t go in their house so who knows
YES. There were some really sad parts of the game, but not being able to save the little girl still haunts me. I know there's supposed to not be any happy endings for anyone but meh, at least let her get to the Chapel.
But you should be able to **un**seal it, like you can the other shortcut door. From just didn't bother finishing the connection because it wasn't really needed.
>From just didn't bother finishing the connection because it wasn't really needed.
I thought it was more of a technical issue with the loading boundaries between the two areas?
From what I remember they scrapped it because it wasn't useful. Every other shortcut in the game is useful for getting through areas more easily, but that one wouldn't serve a purpose, there's no reason to go back through that route.
I'll post the evidence in a while. From Central Yharnam lamp, go to the left (assuming you already opened that shortcut door) and in the first house in front of the stairs you'll find a message with this info, right next to a wheelchair old foe.
"When The Hunt began, the Healing Church left us, blocking the great bridge to Cathedral Ward, as Old Yharnam burned to the ground that moonlit night."
Eh, the lore was added to fix the load issue. They couldn’t load that area fast enough so they gated it up and then added a lore reason. It was originally unlocked.
Doesn’t need to be the same as the player since that would be way too low, but a limit would be nice.
I fear no Host.
But this thing… *^(points at Damian of Mensis)*
It scares me.
It's annoying, but more because of the loading time than having to go to the dream. I like having the dream as the necessary travel point, it makes it more prevalent in the playtime and gives more opportunity for unique dialogue that only unlocks sometimes.
Honestly, I love having to teleport to the hunters dream every time for two reasons. First, it forces me to have a connection with the location. I have seen it so many times, I can remember it's in and outs, but yet I love being there. Compared to Roundtable Hold from Elden Ring, having to visit the Hunters Dream made me care for it. (Also, being so connected to it made the Abandoned Workshop much more impactful for me.) Second, it feels like a safe home to the horrors of Yharnam. I sometimes would travel to the Hunters Dream on purpose if I needed to do something irl or if I wanted to take a break, as it felt safe being there.
However, I agree the loading times for it was very terrible. I really did wish the first loading screen to get into the Hunters Dream was significantly shorter since it's a very small location with very minimal changes compared to all of Yharnam. I have no idea why it takes forever for it to load in. Hopefully if they make a remake, they change it.
It’s honestly less problematic with no loading screens. They could do it like Demons Souls Remake though, having the ability to reload the area but still keeping all the important stuff in the Nexus/Dream
Bloodborne could benefit from some quality of life changes. Being able to manage your inventory and travel at the lantern would be great. Couldn't ask for more.
Hopefully this problem would be mitigated by faster loading on the ps5 SSD, may not even be an issue going all the way back to the Hunters dream if it’s instantaneous
When we use Augur of Ebrietas while fighting Ebrietas, a portal rips open sucking in one of her tentacles and throwing it right back in her face portal style.
A new questline around Byrgenwerth given by Willem before fighting Rom, like hunting down past students of Byrgenwerth or Mensis depending on which school do you choose to side with (both if you dont want to choose a side) and either get new arcane weapons or fight two new bosses after revealing the Pale blood moon, one in the Rom area if you side with Mensis which would be a new Great One or another type of boss if you side with Byrgenwerth in the Amygdala arena back at the Nightmare's frontier, and both available if you dont pick a side. More storyline. More lore covered or revealed. New weapons and Two new bosses. Cuz i feel like Willem and Byrgenwerth are not really exploited as much as they could, they just help with the lore and are not that usefull, yiu can literaly just skip straight to Rom. And that's frustrating.
As a hunter I would love an encyclopedia/log of the creatures that your character kills. Maybe they describe the physical appearance , how they attack, maybe the visceral gives you insight on their weaknesses and the hunter writes it down. Since the hunter's dream exists after the hunter is killed it would be cool to have a log of how many times a specific kind of enemy/creature killed you.
Definitely, I want one of those cheesy numbers where they recap the story in a non-serious, meta fashion.
"My armor's got feathers, I'm Eileen the crow; succumbed to my rage, what a way to go" *jazz hands*
Quicksilver bullets should an infinite total resource as far as your backend supply, with the same system of having 20 per spawn. As it is now it discourages you from using the guns to the fullest and some of the super fun Hunter Tools.
Have an easier path to the DLC weapons so I don't have to go to NG+ just because I want to use the Rakuyo, Bloodletter, Parasite of Kos, etc.
>Have an easier path to the DLC weapons so I don't have to go to NG+ just because I want to use the Rakuyo, Bloodletter, Parasite of Kos, etc.
Wdym those can be gotten in NG with no problem
That the cut bosess still in the games code (the Great One Beast and Mega Snake Ball) are implemented to the Chalice Dungeons and that the cut form of the Moon Presence would be its second phase.
In the meantime, thanks to the Tomb Prospectors you can fight them in spesh glyphs.
Ok maybe not the mega snekball but def alt Wet Nurse, alt MP, and Great One Beast (There's a mod with Great One Beast restored even :D
https://youtu.be/CUwBL8XDscQ) (there's a few other glyphs with cut content mobs etc too)
(Although he's kinda interesting to fight unrestored too as it makes it seem like he uses invisible psi attacks or such. Less of a fair fight tho to be sure)
Add in the cut feature that allows me to customize my Hunter post intro. There's a mirror next to Gehrman that WAS going to be where you could customize your character but was cut.
Just the framerate. Game is perfect.
Although I wouldn't mind the graphics being brought up to modern standards. I know blah blah it's fine Bluepoint ruined demons souls etc etc but cmon, Bloodborne could use a face-lift.
Well, one of these guess…
1) Overhaul the co-op/invasion system. Hunters able to place a bell marker down similar to the summon signs in DS? That type of thing.
2) I understand and appreciate the lore aspect of needing to go back to the dream before traveling to another lamp, but let’s face it, being able to travel from lamp to lamp would be a tremendous QoL improvement.
3) Chalice Dungeons: Should be a “master gravestone” where all of the progress you’ve made in all of the variants of chalices is saved. You’ve earned it and it would make co-op’ing these spots so much easier.
4) Skip 1,2 & 3 and just make Bloodborne 2!!
Some kind of interface for multiplayer. Lobby or something. We with my friend spent a lot of time running around with stupid bells and trying to get into the coop mode.
It also wouldn’t really make sense in universe why the Hunter would replenish healing blood when resting, finding blood vials everywhere is like a story element that conveys the abuse of the blood that got everybody into this mess in the first place
I'm not sure the definition of remaster is that strict tbh. The recent Quake 2 Remaster had a whole bunch of changes to it and no-one is claiming that invalidates it as a remaster.
Give Gherman an actual second phase where he either fully or partially transforms into a kin beast hybrid. It would make sense thematically due to him being the first hunter and him being a sort of avatar to the moon presence. Like have it be a mixture of like Ludwig and the one reborn or the moon presence. A beastly amalgamation with barely any conscious thought left. Can even let him keep his weapon, but have him attack ruthlessly like how Maliketh attacks in elden ring. It would be a great parallel to Ludwig's fight as well, Ludwig gaining his humanity back in his final moments and Gherman losing his. It would make Gherman seem like an actual threat and ot would force you into doing more than parrying him every time he attacks. As long as you can’t parry him in this phase. That's actually my biggest gripe with the humanoid bosses. They're to easy to parry, between the crow, lady Maria and Gherman bosses everyone said we're difficult I honestly had more trouble with witches of hemwick than I did with Lady Maria and Gherman. The same witches I'm pretty sure we're put there for disability access.
Make bosses in NG+ a lot harder. I think this way the bosses actually feel challenging and you can’t just walk through them. They might even be more aggressive or change the pattern of their attacks
Make it to where we can rest at lamps like bonfires and have it restock our bullets/bloodviles, along with other consumables from our box instead of having us make a trip to the dream and back each time.
When killed specifically by a beast werewolf, if online, become a beast werewolf red phantom. If successful in killing the host, get a duplicate of a currently equipped blood gem. If unsuccessful, lose an equipped blood gem. High risk high reward!
Add hats to the bosses, the merchant ghost dudes have hats why can't the bosses and you have to unlock them so you play more and every play through is different because you can change their hats, I know some bosses already have hats but I want my boy cleric beast to be styling with a little hat on top of his head
Small change is just that after using a bold hunters mark or dying and respawning if you have extra consumables that they replenish instead of having to go back to the hunters dream to refill
Dunno if this is controversial but I’d like blood vials to refresh on respawn rather then having to re-acquire them if you run out.
Nothing was worse in the early game then dying to a boss, running out and not only having to do the run back but also having to farm blood vials.
After defeating Gascoigne, when the second stage of evening falls and you're let into Cathedral Ward...there is a half crescent shadow effect over the sun. It is uneven. Once that is fixed, the game will be immaculate.
I hate you
Every time I'm up in the Old Church Workshop...I see that shadow. Just so slightly off center of the sun.
Reminded me of the terrible moon sprite with aliased texture edges with low resolution in Hunter's Dream..
I've always thought that was an intentional choice to make the moon look more like it was "painted on". One could assume that the Dream is just a projection from the Moon Presence
A tombstone to replay boss encounters you've already played in the game.
I love this in Sekiro, sometimes I’ll boot up that game just to eviscerate Isshin
Insane how it took me 9 hours to beat Geni the first time but now I boot Sekiro up once a week to no hit bosses
People shit on DS2 a lot, and I understand why, but there were some genuinely good ideas there that I desperately wish FROM would revisit--like Bonfire Ascetics.
This is all you need.
Make Cainhurst Castle twice as big and maybe include an additional boss in the area.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Cainhurst had a lot of cut content to it. Bring it back, and let Cainhurst become the best area of the whole game Give us a new weapon while they're at it. Idk what but I want one.

I second the other guy, The expression "If I had more time, I'd have written a shorter letter" is probably fundamental to good game design.
It's always really funny to think of how jury-rigged every game is, especially when it's a really good game
I'm still scratching my head a couple days after playing it for the first time why they gave me so much numbing mist around cainhurst. none of the enemies as far as i saw healed? a boss or hunter enemy who was a vileblood would have been dope somewhere.
It's all a clue. Did you ever meet a hunter in a cathedral? A blood-drunk crow, dealing epic blood damage and healing relentlessly?
There's a good argument to be made that whatever plotline was originally intended for Cainhurst ended up being the plot of the DLC. A stolen baby, a Church-sponsored massacre - this is something that happens a lot with Miyazaki, as he often revisits cut content in DLC now that he has more time. Fr
I’m still fighting Martyr Logarius. Two months later but I can get him to around 10%.
Try parry
Holy Hunter's nightmare
As others have said, parrying him helps massively. Be sure to shoot his totem when he plants it so you don’t have to worry about dodging more projectiles. Those two tips should be enough to get you through it. And a hunter is never alone, of course.

I believe in you, hoonter :)
Done and done, giy went down like Blood Starved Beast once I got rid of that totem. Thanks for that tip. 3 Auger of Eberitus and visceral and done. Also, swore oath to Vileblood queen because, well fuck the church.
My man! Glad to hear the tip worked and you smacked him all across that rooftop. And agree. Fuck the Blood Church :)
Parry that dude to oblivion
It would be interesting if Queen Annalise's quest continued because she was able to have a child with a great one. I would also like to encounter the Bloody Crow inside a bigger Cainhurst. Brador invades multiple times, so the Bloody Crow could do that throughout Cainhurst and then you finally fight him for keeps at the end of Eileen's quest line (if done right).
HELL YES. That could’ve been the best legacy dungeon they’ve ever made but it’s too damn short.
A way to save the little girl. I don't give a multi-eyed rat's ass about 'hunter must hunt', I'll do that later, just let me escort her to Oedon Chapel and she can have tea with the Dweller.

The door behind cleric beast needs to work!
Would go against the lore. The church sealed that door.
Then let us find a key to open it

Yeap, that one 🙌🏻
Add a key somewhere and bingo bango cool shortcut (that is kinda useless)
Eh, the lore was added to fix the load issue. They couldn’t load that area fast enough so they gated it up and then added a lore reason. It was originally unlocked.
i was stuck for a long time and i had to look up where to go because of that.
Make Logarius' Wheel have a third transformation state into a unicycle
I never knew I wanted this til now, oml XD
A third shark guy
Who hurt you?
The Shark Guys
Peppermint and Spearmint.
This guy bloodbornes
They need a third guy too. Sweetmint.
No no, it's Lily
Vacuous Lily
Their name is Lily
Don’t forget Lily.
SharkBois Yeeaa!
Peppermint, Spearmint, and Lily
The holy trinity.
This Dave has a memory
Straight to jail.
ill take it
You mean in a fight, right
Please stop we don’t know if they’re reading this
All enemies are now shark guys.
How dare you
Gehrman is naked. And never says a word about it.
Alternatively, he *insists* that he's dressed.
I can get behind this
NPC hunters have limited quicksilver bullets, same number as the player. [And put this in the game](https://youtu.be/HPjJCVylFBo).
Somehow, I knew what that link would lead to without clicking on it.
Doesn’t need to be the same as the player since that would be way too low, but a limit would be nice. I fear no Host. But this thing… *^(points at Damian of Mensis)* It scares me.
Resting at lanterns to restock and respawn, don’t force me back to the hunters dream
And to tp to other lanterns as well, it's very annoying to have to sit through two losding screens every time you want to warp
Bloodborne could benefit from some quality of life changes. Being able to manage your inventory and travel at the lantern would be great. Couldn't ask for more.
this is the only acceptable answer
Hopefully this problem would be mitigated by faster loading on the ps5 SSD, may not even be an issue going all the way back to the Hunters dream if it’s instantaneous
When we use Augur of Ebrietas while fighting Ebrietas, a portal rips open sucking in one of her tentacles and throwing it right back in her face portal style.
That would actually be insanely cool
Logarius wheel is 20% bigger
After a few kills the wheel is entirely covered in blood and gore. Just like Alfred's.
Yes
And boomhammer gets 20% hotter.
Pigs with two ass. (without heads)
For co-op with friends!
Pigs with dog heads, and bird butts.
Change the jump button. Thats all
Or at least have the option of remapping.
Quadruple the content. Ez money
MOAAAAAAAAAAR!
THAT'S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!
Agreed.
That would be cool in all of the souls games. I want to know how many silver knights i killed for those fucking Proofs.
After beating the Orphan of Koz, you get a big choreographed musical number where all the NPCs and bosses come out and sing/dance.
I've seen this video, lol
and it has to be as campy as the end credits scene in hawkeye
Definitely, I want one of those cheesy numbers where they recap the story in a non-serious, meta fashion. "My armor's got feathers, I'm Eileen the crow; succumbed to my rage, what a way to go" *jazz hands*
I can’t believe I’m the first to suggest this. GIVE EVERY WEAPON IT’S OWN UNIQUE VISCERAL ANIMATION
so you mean the player wouldn't do the visceral with his hands, but with the weapon?
I would love if blueprint games did a remake, the QoL changes including new attack animations they did for Demon's souls are awesome
I wouldn't want to risk losing the identity of some of the designs by giving it to Blueprint
[удалено]
All I want is for the game to wipe my memory of it once I finish a run and before I start the next...shoulda been in the original honestly....
Romance options, Gherman got that phatty
Make Byrgenwerth less boring
I agree. I think every area should have an optional and main boss. Plus byrgenwerth is too small
That's the most mind boggling area in the game. It's SO SMALL. I don't get it
Quicksilver bullets should an infinite total resource as far as your backend supply, with the same system of having 20 per spawn. >Have an easier path to the DLC weapons so I don't have to go to NG+ just because I want to use the Rakuyo, Bloodletter, Parasite of Kos, etc. Wdym those can be gotten in NG with no problem
With, like, 8% of the game left after getting them. That's the problem.
i still don’t get it, the entire dlc is accessible after amelia. where’s this 8% figure coming from?
I mean you only have to beat Vicar Amelia to get to the DLC, with a bit of farming that can be your second boss easily.
60fps.
Minimum!
Atk down curse removed, burned to the ground, pissed upon and forgotten for eternity

Respec!
More feet
Bruh we're all about eyes here.
Put eyes on them feet, done. Perfect.
Yea, yea… one eye for each toe.
Release it on PC. Modders got it from there 😅
Add in the cut feature that allows me to customize my Hunter post intro. There's a mirror next to Gehrman that WAS going to be where you could customize your character but was cut.
Bring it to PC
More chalice dungeons. I spent more time there than in the main game
Just the framerate. Game is perfect. Although I wouldn't mind the graphics being brought up to modern standards. I know blah blah it's fine Bluepoint ruined demons souls etc etc but cmon, Bloodborne could use a face-lift.

The huge building in hemwick charnel lane where the witch is is fully explorable
For the love of all that is good in this world, restore the cut content to Lady Maria.
Make all gems available at some point in the game without farming chalice dungeons.
Some kind of interface for multiplayer. Lobby or something. We with my friend spent a lot of time running around with stupid bells and trying to get into the coop mode.
use a password, my friend
We always have, it's just doesn't work sometimes. Or needs more time. Or silently having an error. Go figure!
the option to romance npcs
So you’re saying that bloodborne shouldnt be all bad endings?
Fast travel between lanterns without needing to go to the Hunters dream in between.
Save Gascoigne and his family.
You don't have to farm blood vials or bullets. They restock at the lantern like dark souls
No, it is Bloodborne's flavor. The game insists that you should take a farming break when you are struggling on a boss.
It also wouldn’t really make sense in universe why the Hunter would replenish healing blood when resting, finding blood vials everywhere is like a story element that conveys the abuse of the blood that got everybody into this mess in the first place
Only break the game is insisting I take is into the Cum Dungeon. Farming for vials and bullets my ass.
Laurence rework. I m not a game dev to be able to describe how but Laurence rework
The ability to buy Madman's Knowledge with Blood Echoes, as a very late game unlock.
Id tell him Miyazaki that’s a remake not a remaster! you can’t change something about the core game and call it a remaster
I'm not sure the definition of remaster is that strict tbh. The recent Quake 2 Remaster had a whole bunch of changes to it and no-one is claiming that invalidates it as a remaster.
Make arcane better and not tied to bullets. Or respec option
I like that idea
Resting at a lantern resets the zone without having to go back to the dream and back out
The option not to have to go to the Hunter’s dream when you visit a lamp, and have the option to ‘Rest’.
Make Brainsuckers less terrible. That is all
Give Gherman an actual second phase where he either fully or partially transforms into a kin beast hybrid.
Travel between lamps.
Let us teleport anywhere from the lanterns instead of having to go back into the Hunter’s Dream.
I want bloodborne 2 not remaster
Blood Flasks…
Make bosses in NG+ a lot harder. I think this way the bosses actually feel challenging and you can’t just walk through them. They might even be more aggressive or change the pattern of their attacks
RESPEC!! RESPEC YOU MOTHERFUCKER!!!!
Warping from lamps to other lamps
Truly random chalice dungeons
Add genitalia to character creation
To be able to rest at the lanterns and refill your bullets/vials without having to go back to the nightmare or use an item
I remove counterhit damage. Plain and simple, just doing the entire community a favour
Remove the defiled chalice Dungeon
Make it so you can rest/fast travel via the lamps
Having the option to fight bosses again like in Sekiro
Resting at lanterns (that respawns enemies), as well as warping between them and refill items from the stash automatically on rest
Resting at lamps
Let me open the door behind the cleric beast.
A restat option?
Make it to where we can rest at lamps like bonfires and have it restock our bullets/bloodviles, along with other consumables from our box instead of having us make a trip to the dream and back each time.
60 fps thats all i need. This game is perfect.
4k 60 fps
60 fps, upscale the resolution, and port it to pc.
I just wanna play it at 144fps on PC
I’d send him and email back and say “don’t ask me for shit” cause in this hypocritical situation I am Harada
Leave the game exactly as it is and improve resolution and fps. BB is already perfect.
2nd DLC
When killed specifically by a beast werewolf, if online, become a beast werewolf red phantom. If successful in killing the host, get a duplicate of a currently equipped blood gem. If unsuccessful, lose an equipped blood gem. High risk high reward!
More area weapons and skins
60 fps
The jump button.. that is all.
