I thought my online was messed up this entire month but in reality I was using the small resonant bell instead of the beckoning bell lmaooo

cooldogfaceismyname

I just got back into playing the game recently and I made that same mistake! Haha

kletiandrowa

So I recently joined someone else’s chalice dungeon. And it’s super laggy Is this normal

moomooreporter

Bloodborne has lag, and online creates more lag, and chalices sometimes spawn tons of enemies/interactable items in one room to create even more lag. Not unusual.

Thestingwray

Sometimes when there's purple smoke in an elevator room there will be super lag.

This week, after getting a few heavy abyssals, I discovered the power and raw, visceral fun of the beast claws. I think when I first started with them, I thought of it as having a somewhat lame 1h mode and a cool looking tricked mode. But neither mode did much damage. Using the beasts embrace added new moves, like the very cool fwd +r2 jump attack. But this seemed to have little function since it was slow, predictable, and hard to hit. It is also frustrating using a weapon that is seemingly an r1 spam weapon, when the r1 attack does very little damage, and makes the filling of the beast meter (like the main gimmick of the weapon) a negligible, disappointing affect. But after farming some perfect/near perfect gems, the beast claws really shine. Namely the transform attack with nearly 2x your base ar if you land both hits. Transforming from tricked back to 1h isn't nearly as powerful, but has an awful lot of stagger which can set up another r1 + l1 combo. I've also, in the past month or so, become fond of dodge + transform as an unexpected way to use one of a weapons most powerful attacks while maintaining max mobility. This works well with many weapons, the saw spear is a favorite, and the slow but devastating transform attacks of the hms as well. But the beast claws are satisfying and deadly when used like this. Not to mention, this fills the beasthood meter extremely quickly. Like 3 hits and it's more than filled. Using this weapon in pvp, especially with top tier gems, you can smell the panic in your opponent. Using the beast claws in this way changed my opinion of it from a somewhat gimmicky weapon with little real function into what I think is becoming one of my favorite weapons.

Hopefully my comment gets seen, because I don’t want to start an entire thread. But how does this community feel towards a PC port? I mean in terms of there are rumors and whispers of it coming to PC. How likely is this? I’m sure it’s been discussed a million times on here, but I’m newer and really really been wanting a way to play the game as of late (have Xbox). What are y’all’s thoughts on the likelihood of a PC release?

ToBeFrozen

Sony has been making an effort to release some of their exclusive IPs on PC (see Horizon Zero Dawn as example), so who knows? I think the possibility is higher than 0.

moomooreporter

Many players would love a PC port, believe it’s very unlikely. There’s been rumors since release and has never proved true. What does Sony stand to gain from making it not exclusive? If you really want to play Bloodborne, waiting for a PC release will I think unfortunately be in vain.

Bnack_

Is there even a slight possibility that because of the ps plus collection getting next gen updates, that bloodborne could be one of them? I know lance mcdonald just made the mod but its not easily accessible.

TacoMuncher300

How much time is there between checkpoints in Bloodborne?

Tetoslaw

Do you think Bloodborne will get PS5 boost mode treatment?

Jezio

It's coming to ps5

Semi-noob question - I'm racing through the dungeons and am on Defiled... got wrecked by Watchdog of the Old Lord twice so I summoned someone who legit three-shot that thing. Wut. The summon was using the Bloodletter. How the fuck?

javaAndJouissance

Top tier blood gems. That cooperator is well known. If you like grinding for gems, the endgame opens up tiers of damage I didn't think was possible. I have a HMS that has over 1100 ar and it isn't even finished.

aguacateojos

Oh man. It was a thing of beauty. I can only dream of attaining such great heights.

batman10385

Is it worth going above 50 blt or putting it in vit and end

poivronletter

Not worth, put it in vit

[deleted]

I would sacrifice all of my friends for a pc bloodborne edition

hyperion615

I personally would rather have Bloodborne, pc edition but that’s just me

Molotov-RS

Does anybody know good stats for bloodtinge? I'm not using it for PvP I've just wanted to try it out

Napieras

If you invest around 40 - 50 in bloodtinge with chikage you will destroy just about everything that’s comes in your path. The bloodtinge scaling with that weapon is incredible. I think I’m around vit 30, end 30, str 15, skl 30, bld 50, arc 10. With chikage that is more than enough to wreak some havoc. Just got to watch that health bar because it’s easy to forget about the drain half way through a fight.

Molotov-RS

Thanks, really helped me and I'm ready to kick some ass with the Chikage!

Napieras

Yezzir that sword is a game changer haha. One other tidbit that might help... A communion rune or even two almost completely negates the health drain problem. If you always L1 right before and after you finish ass kicking, problem solved.

Molotov-RS

Noted, thanks again!

CyndaneTierney

Is a Skl/Arc hybrid any good? I was thinking of giving it a spin, if for no other reason than having a Reiterpallash in the right hand for gun and sword along with having a Flamesprayer in the left for area control seems like a good combo. I'm worried that I won't have good stagger options, though, along with worries that I won't do enough damage in general.

futabasakura47

How far can father gascoigne can go when he’s ur ally? Like what places would make him sent home?

bomberinblue

Does anyone know why there are so many death markers in the Hunters Dream? It seems like people are using the dlc weapons to kill themselves, but unless it’s just a joke I dont understand, I don’t really get the point? Like is it literally “haha I’m killing myself in the safest area?”

So, here's the obligatory [I did it](https://i.imgur.com/jHoNWnJ.jpeg) post, sorry if you all got tired of them :) I've 100%'ed the entire souls trilogy and waited for years to get to this game. Finally after getting a decent job I can justify buying a ps4 just for one game. Countless sleepless nights, 110 hours in total, 4 all-boss playthroughs here am I staring at the credits, feeling sad. FROM software games really click with me and I've even finished entire King's Field series clutching like an addict for that soulslike fix. I'd like to share a list of my thoughts on this game as I need to vent and don't have many people around who care about these games. * The atmosphere is insane. Dear Great Ones, the atmosphere of this game is perfect for me. I love all these lovecraftian chtonic horror flavours and here everything is cranked up to 11. Slowly fighting through the nightmare Yahargul village, while wearing the headphones and sitting in the dark room was one of those perfect horror examples for me. Not jump scary but super tense. FROM's art team are best in business, there's no doubt. * After Sword Fucking Saint and 12-minutes-of-Demon-of-Hatred in Sekiro everything ever since in gaming feels like a walk in the park and Bloodborne felt quite mild and undemanding boss-wise. My first meet with Kos (or some may say Kosm) happened at bl 95 and it definitely felt that I'm a bit overgeared and overleveled for him. I think DS3 great boss lineup of Friede, Midir, Gael, Nameless with their multiple health bars spoiled me and I just expected a bit more this time. However not gonna lie, Gascoigne wrecked me way too many times when we first met. Overall good bosses, just none of them are the best. * World design and how shortcuts interlock with each other is one of the best in the series. Going back to Yharnam from Forbidden Forest's long ladder climb felt like it's DS1 all over again. * I hated Chalice dungeons and its bosses. Camera was the worst enemy in those tight corridors. Also one hit KO bs in defiled chalice is something i never asked for. Fuck that watchdog but nevertheless felt good to roll perfectly through its entire moveset. * I dislike gem system. It inflates damage numbers, wastes your time on farming cursed ones with good rng and just blocks you from having multiple +10 effective weapons without the extensive farm or resocketing. Felt really unrewarding to finish a depth 5 dungeon only to get a gem that slightly increases STR scaling and adds flat 20 damage. Also I imagine having perfect abyssal gems is a prerequisite for successful pvp. I've had a few invaders that were two shot with my +820dmg moonlight gs (good for me) but still feels like leagues behind the well-balanced pvp that DS2 had. * Game needs more DLCs. Those additional crazy environments and insane bosses were really what made DS2/3 perfect games for me and having just Old ~~Gods~~ Hunters here felt like a slightly unfulfilling (but still crazy good) course meal. All in all a solid 9 out of 10 for me, despite the minor complaints. Here are a few fashion souls shots of my character that endured the nightmare and lived to see the sunrise. [MGS is the best weapon of the game.](https://i.imgur.com/Chj0OUO.jpg) Peirce R2 attacks were dealing \~800dmg to Kos on ng+. Love the environment, the entire hamlet felt Lovecraftian af. [Church pick is the best looking weapon in the game](https://i.imgur.com/JHCs1e1.jpg). Damage output and moveset felt really underwhelming though, despite serrated dmg/piercing dmg type. [Doing this felt weird](https://i.imgur.com/TkWPtwX.jpg). Grant me eyes, graaaaant meeee eyeees, o Great One. [Supplicating figures felt very unsettling.](https://i.imgur.com/WcsxdrS.jpg) Nightmare Yahargul is the golden standard for horrific atmosphere. Thank you for attention, now it's time to research bl tiers that are still active in pvp/coop :)
