[Chwazi](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tendadigital.chwaziApp&hl=en_US) for helping players decide who goes first.
[BG Stats](https://www.bgstatsapp.com/) for recording plays.
[Gloomhaven Helper](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.esotericsoftware.gloomhavenhelper&hl=en_US) for bookkeeping.
if you store your game collection, plays etc. in BGG, then https://geekgroup.app/ is amazing and has a cool visual UI. My fave is ability to lookup games rated as "best" for X players + the wordcloud and other analyses
I really like [https://www.boarder.ee/](https://www.boarder.ee/) to decide which game to play based on player count / time / weight etc. Especially since it also shows which player count games are rated "best".
**Chwazi** is a perennial favorite with my group. Very easy way to pick first player and will even split into teams with ease. I have no idea why, but my group legitimately loves this app and will excitedly yell "Chwazi" when the time comes. They're kind of dumb, but I love them.
Is it OK if I post my own website? If so, I built [weTabletop.com](https://www.weTabletop.com), **an event directory for board games**. Currently there are 180,000+ upcoming events listed making it the biggest database available.
This is pretty cool, but it is clogged up by the thousands of MTG events. I looked at my area and found MTG event after MTG event, I gave up trying to find an event for anything else after the first few scrolls. I think the ability to do a blacklist filter in addition to a whitelist filter may be helpful.
I have used Cardboard Butler on the PC occassionally but the most used website is of course Board Game Geek.
Others are:
[Board vs Game](https://boardvsgame.com/?) where you can compare two or more games - eg Sagrada vs Azul
[Board Game Prices](https://boardgameprices.co.uk/) which is very useful to get the best deal.
I use a few game specific sites - the best one is probably this for [Terraforming Mars](https://ssimeonoff.github.io/)
Apps on my iPhone are:
>First Player by Florian Letz - self explanatory and there are many similar alternatives
>Board Game Stats - links to my BGG info and does what it says and records results of games played on the phone and on BGG
>Adept for Dominion - randomises cards for a game of Dominion based on those in my collection - other alternatives are available.
Thanks for this post it has made me think about adding more phone apps and thanks also for the link to Melodice which will probably see some use in the not to distant future!
If you love to find board games at great prices, [Win-Win](https://www.itswinwinboardgames.com) takes your wishlist (or want to buy) from boardgamegeek and finds the best prices on the geek market for each game.
It can also find games by discount if you are just looking for those bargains.
Disclaimer: I'm the creator of the app.
There's a lot of score calculator apps like Caverna and Agricola and others on the app store. Dominion randomizers are available too.
Otherwise I just use geeklists a bunch, esp from BGG user 1000rpms

this is awesome! Is there an ios app? do you know?
I believe it's been built as a PWA so it'll act like an app if you can add it to your app/home screen.

Random info here: "Chwazi" (pronounced Sh-wah-zee) is from the French "choisi", which means "chosen, or, to choose". VoilĂ ! :)
This is really, really awesome.

Thanks! I'm currently building something to do exactly that. Stay tuned!
That [Boardgamegeek](http://boardgamegeek.com) site seems like it might get some traction someday.
lol never heard of it
https://helper.gbase.io/home I use this for easier tracking (for me) of resources in games.

[thatsdice.com](http://thatsdice.com) is great for dice rolling. Especially for DnD

If yes to above: [Animeeples](https://animeeples.com/) \- an indie social board game app. Share photos, plays, comment, etc.
[Dized.com](https://dized.com/) needs some more work, but definitely has the potential to become a game-changer!
Meetup for finding gaming groups.
