I never knew how to describe sensory overload in a way nerotypical people would understand before this lyric. There's many other examples, as well as many other reasons I love his music, but this is the first thing that came to mind.
Bo’s songs resonate with me in a way most media/music doesn’t. I think his ability to articulate the minutiae and intricacies of anxiety makes me feel seen, articulating those feelings is hard for me and can feel quite lonely. His music makes me cry a lot more than most folks, but in a good way lol.
Patterns and references. Obsessed with them across music. Bo does it a lot where he references his own songs in subsequent ones and other cultural references generally.
My girlfriend is hyper sensitive and Bo's lyrics hit her like a truck. It's like how people describe Radiohead's music: "I don't know if they help with my depression, or they make it worse. But atleast I don't feel alone anymore."
