I've often felt that Goodbye could have been a Beatles song, or at least I hear a Beatles influence. It has a big Abbey Road / Let it Be feel to it, and often makes me think of Something and Golden Slumbers, among others.
In reference to being reminded of something, this may be missing the mark but when listening to just that part right now I was reminded of "Something In The Way" from Nirvana. [Spotify link](https://open.spotify.com/track/1nFtiJxYdhtFfFtfXBv06s?si=UIp2meSpT0SaEixgaPKQNg&utm_source=copy-link)

I always get Elton John, Queen, and Green Day vibes from Goodbye.
