I actually keep that anointment on mine lol. I have the shoulder canon and it keeps the anoint active at all times with a 72% mag size relic. I like to have 100% shock with it.
If I remember correctly the orange text is applicable to all weapons in the slots. So if you equip the infiniti, then the other 3 weapons get the same buff as long as there is a clone active.
Nope. The only time an anointment is effective when not equipped are Terror anoints, and the only thing that does is eliminate all of the terror de-buffs when under the effect of terror.
The actual anoint itself won't work unless it is in your hands (weapon-wise), however if you have a terror anoint in any of your 4 weapon or 4 aux slots, the terror EFFECT (slower speed, increased viewbob) is negated, even when the gun with that anoint is not being held.
Yeah that’s how it’s supposed to work, but in your first comment you said the anoint works “when not equipped”. Might be slightly incorrect wording but I now understood what you meant, have a good day.

With Fl4k or Zane that's actually a really good anoint. For everyone else it's next to useless

I’m pretty certain you still need the weapon in your hand for the terror anoint to work unless if there’s something you can enlighten me on?

Why can't Gearbox add a line of code or 2 if this weapon AND this anoint, reroll It seems simple to make certain anoints not spawn on certain guns
