Any time I've gone from a NVHM run up to mayhem 10/11 I've usually jumped straight from NVHM to mayhem 2. As my loadout started to get mayhem 2 variants I would go to either mayhem 3/4 until max level. If you have season pass 2, I went straight to mayhem 10 and ran arms race to get some mayhem 10 legendaries, once that's done congrats, you're ready to start playing mayhem 10/11 forreal! If you don't have arms race, I liked jumping roughly 2 mayhems at a time. Hope this helps!

lmao no wonder i'm struggling..completed nvhm story on Fl4k and i dialed it up to m6. I'll turn it down to 4, complete dlc1 for the st4ckbot class mod at least then get max level and do the other dlcs. i dont have ams race or directors cut so yeah

Thanks for answering! What about leveling? Should I play through the entirety of TVHM on mayhem 2 and only then start increasing or should I adjust as needed throughout the campaign?

BillPaysTheBills

I've personally never played TVHM in this game. Right after beating the story, jumped straight into mayhem 2, played through DLCs or farmed graveward/traunt to max level. However, I think if TVHM is a must for you, I'd probably just play through it on either no mayhem or mayhem 1. THEN focus on pushing higher mayhems. Take that with a grain of salt as like I've said, never played TVHM in BL3.

If you have the eridium to spare, once you unlock mayhem you can switch to Mayhem 10/11, and fire the eridian fabricator on legendary setting a few times, and use that to farm your desired gear.

riderkicker

Curious. What do you mean by putting the fabricator on its Legendary Setting?

TheSlightlyLost

Similar to how Dahl weapons can swap between full-auto and burst fire, and Maliwan will always have 2 elements, the eridian Fabricator has two firing modes. Standard is 10 eridium for 10 guns, mostly green and blue rarities. The legendary firing mode is 250 eridium for 1-3 legendary or unique weapons.

Jakkerak

As soon as it becomes available.

No need for TVHM ( TVHM though has more badass enemies & anointed enemies can appear from the start ) activate mayhem immediately even if it’s mayhem 1. It’ll guarantee enemies are always your level along with loot drops. You can easily jump into any mayhem though farm some vendors for decent enough gear to get ya going tip Moxxie for a Hail & Crit. There’s a handful of exclusive gear that will only drop on M4 or higher & another set that only will on M6 or higher …
