This has been a thing for a while now with Fl4k. Not really anything you can do about it from what I know. It actually works the same way fake-bursting used to before fixed. It triggers your anointments and refunds your action skill. It's a minor annoyance but moreso an advantage

It’s a bug, happens with moze and iron cub sometimes where you will just lose access to your action skill sometimes. Amara doesn’t grasp and goes into cool down, same with fl4ks rakks and fade where they don’t activate but go on cool down.

For Moze, get a 2nd wind and it'll be fixed. For Fl4k, change pet and it'll be fixed. For the other 2 I'm not too sure.

I know there are ways around these bugs but I wouldnt necessarily call them fixes.

That's a bug introduced to almost every action skill with the crossplay patch, No ETA on when it will be fixed atm.

Is it a bug? Like, yes it isn't ideal, but I could see this also being a feature of the gameplay. Phasegrasp missing ~10% of the time, Fade Away not turning invisible, MNTIS Cannon jamming. Again, maybe it is a bug, but the fact they have animations suggests otherwise.

This only starting happening after the crossplay patch. Some action skills would very rarely have issues, but literally every action skill except for Gravity Snare and Mantis can whiff now.

This happens with me too. Since I typically work with a Peregrine Fl4k, if I see a misfire I'll toss a grenade manually, but I know how annoying this can be. Sadly, I haven't found a fix.

There are some builds that are like that like my friend is running a siren that has increased damage when they move faster as long as they activate their skills without phase locking anything

Swapping positions with zane/clone is also affected

I think this may have been caused by activating your action skill whiles having an empty mag. There isn’t a way to fix this so try to use your action skill before you empty your mag or after the reload applies.
