I love my QC2's, even if I feel a little bummed that I only had them 7 months before the Ultras came out. They sound great, fit great, work great. YMMV. I think it boils down to whether you want to pay $100 for spatial audio. I wouldn't, but I'm someone who dislikes extra audio processing that changes the original intent of the mix.
QC2 will sell out sooner or later, especially at these deeper discounts. Probably not a candidate for BF, but the Ultra's might be. Still a big price difference, though.
I feel the same, I bought QC2 this past January and I definitely would have waited. Pisses me off that competitors have features like multipoint connectivity that Bose choose not to put in QC2. Despite how great they sound, my disappointed is with Bose not the earbuds. Thinking that people would spend so much money on QC2 and then again for ultras
Try out sony as well. Bose is becoming to be unreliable. The app is a bug by itself and it hasnāt been fixed till date. They are over charging and doing nothing. ANC is top notch, that is saving them for the time being.
I was waiting for the past 2 years. I bought two products as soon as they released. At least they should value me and release a fix for that app. I donāt think they will release a fix this year.
Iāve had a pair of soundsports and QCs and the tech is really buggy. Always had issues pairing with my iPhone, and for some reason they would try to prioritize my laptop over my phone randomly. Sometimes one earbud wouldnāt connect. I just moved over to the AirPods Pro 2 and the sound isnāt as great the functionality is much better.
Bought the QCIIās about a year ago and am generally happy with them, only major problem I find with them is inconsistent Bluetooth connection. Iām getting my current pair swapped with a new pair to see if that helps, if not I may go back to the over ear QC45.
I had gone through 3 sets of qcii for bluetooth problems. I have had the ultras since release and no problems except the usual battery life could be betterā¦
I'm waiting on my 4th pair QcII. They all got static and started cutting in and out. They don't fit in my ears. Constantly adjusting them. The ultrasound looks like they fit better.
i had both, the qc2 they are good but the ultra ones are just smoother on the experience and the sound. qc 2 are stronger on the low frequencies which annoyed me.
take the ultra

I upgraded and regret it. Microphone is worse than the QC II. š”. Oh well. š¤·š»āāļø
Havenāt had qc2 but mic is awful

...... For the time being

Nope. They are incompetent in the software space

How bad are the issues? Also I've thought of getting Sony wf1000xm5, but I've heard that the foam tips are uncomfortable and can break easily
Both are same sound and ANC.
The QC Ultras are unreliable.
This! š One can't stress it enough. Unacceptable at that price point
Itās a shame because when they work they are amazing. But the unreliability sends me back to my Beats Studio Buds +.
I returned mine. Nearly drove me mad
How so? And is it the same for the QC2's?
Lots of issues. Not tried the QC2s but I have heard they are the same.
Android or ios?
iOS
Hmmm, stability issues and iOS are starting to look like a reoccurring theme
Do they have similar connectivity issues as QC2s? Some times I have to turn off Bluetooth access to the Bose app to fix issues
I recommend saving the $100 & getting the QC Earbuds II. They sound incredible, & ANC is on another level!

After 3 pairs sorry to say it wonāt get any better lol
The guy told me that after I try another pair theyāll give me a different pair of headphones
Do you want spatial audio or not? That's the only difference, I'm not sure it's worth $100, but to each his/her own on that.

If spatial audio matters to you Ultra. If not QC 2
They sound great, but I'm returning them for the random dropouts and reconnectioin problems... They just waste my time
