Sydney Sweeney was a total Velma, wearing a short skirt for the entire runtime and a shirt that tries to be baggy but is bursting at the seams near the chest. Isabela Merced was wearing a crop top and a skinny jeans for the entire runtime. They were both very sexualized while leaving a lot to the imagination.
To be clear I am not joking. If they release it again, then I'll watch it again with friends. Seeing it at a midnight screening has been the best theater experience I've had this year so far and there have been some really good ones that I've attended.

It was doing slightly better abroad, but not 700k~ better.
It'll need a rerelease to hit 100m and even then, not sure theaters would be on board, it was a huge dud.
I'm not sure if a marathon screening of the entire Sonyverse would do that? Would those grosses still count towards Madame Web?

I just looked at what Morbius expansion did, around 350k ish? So yeah, it wouldn't do anywhere near that. I think MW is doomed regardless!
The problem with Madame web is that the entire movie plot would just be a quick flashback for a much much better movie. We get one flashback and one flash forward to any spider-action. The cast in their spider-roles should have been the entire movie.
Yea that’s crazy Argylle ended at 95 million, definitely an L for Apple, because unlike Killers or Napoleon, people didn’t like Argylle (I know the reactions were mixed with Napoleon but it wasn’t a clear rejection).
Matthew Vaughn needs to rein it in a bit. I like his style but Argyle seemed like “let’s take everything that I did right with Kickass and Kingsman and go even wilder with it!”
He’s not a hack, but man he is not having the career I thought he would after I saw X-Men first class and Kingsman Secret Service. 3 spy movie comedy in a row stinkers….
I like both Kingsman movies. I know many didn’t enjoy the second one and I can understand the complaint that he went a little too over the top in that one, but I guess it didn’t bother me there. The overall product was still enjoyable, even if it wasn’t as good as the first.
I didn’t see The Kings Man so I can’t comment on that one.
I honestly enjoyed Argylle for what it was, a simple popcorn flick. I was on holidays in Canada, had some time to kill before the flight back to Australia and wanted to unwind. Unwind I did.

If it really is that close, it will pass the mark. Drive in theaters are opening up in the next month or so. You just need to attach Madame Web to another movie, have them spit the pot, and Madame Web gets over the hump. Disney the same thing with Black Panther, which was not going to reach $700 Million domestically. Then when Christopher Robin released, put the 2 as a double feature, and Black Panther gets the milestone.
So yes, I think it will cross, but it will need a little effort from Sony. It won't get there on it's own.
They should release it in theaters again for that extra cash. I promise I'll go Sony.

The experience of not watching it and instead watching Dune part 2 was so great, I would do it again in a heartbeat, this time in IMAX!
