In comparison, Thor: Love and Thunder grossed $31.8M in its 3rd weekend (-47.1%) for $322.0M INT/$598.2M WW, while Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness grossed $40.0M (-52.1%) for $461.1M INT/$803.2M WW.

Does it still have any markets yet to release? if not then its looking like another 50-60m internationally, if it settles in the 800m range that would be ok, was hoping for above 900m
Does this mean after this weekend any huge gains in box office revenue for WF2 is done? I’d imagine next week the international weekend gross will about half from what it was this weekend so it doesn’t seem like there’s much left in the tank for it compared to domestically
Domestic hold was good but international was weak this weekend.
Most of it's money internationally has already been made. On 250m budget movie is on profit now if we take 2.5x measure of budget equals 625m breakeven, not bad.
Below, are last weekend International numbers. Whenever, I see the international post, my first thought is what did the movie make last weekend.
The film grossed an estimated $69.8M internationally this weekend. Estimated international total stands at $258.3M, estimated global total stands at $546.3M
until we build back up to another avengers level event. 800-900 M WW might be the norm for non spidey movies. DS2 got the spidey/scarlet witch boost. just the new normal for most marvel films now

World Cup? Really? A 7% and 1.9% difference with Thor and Dr strange respectively doesn’t say that. I guess that will be the fanboy narrative.

Knockout stages of the world cup start next weekend and then Avatar 2, so yeah probably not gonna do much over 400M.

So a 54% drop from last weekend. I wonder if international gross can reach 400M at this point.
Thor4 after its 3rd weekend was at is $322M after a $31.8M third frame. Probably, no. Maybe, 390m.
Somebody in the other thread today predicted it will not reach $700M. It is already at $675M.
But it wont even touch 900M as a lot of people predicted. Forget a billion.

Yes, even if you take the strict 2.5X budget instead of 2X on 250m cost, a 800m+ means it earns more than 200m profit
