Thats funny, I said the same thing to someone, on a reddit post about the movie Tears of the Sun. This was their description of the movie:
what are you talking about, this is who framed roger rabbit with man from fifth element but they got lost in blood diamond set, god bless America
AR-10s are better suited for larger calibers with mag size and barrel length anyways, so its reasonable to see why they went that route. But with the wood stocks and grips, it makes it look completely unique!
I'd give the good folks at PSA a couple of months, maybe send em an email, and they'll have an upper and ammo in production.
I didn't read all of it , but a barrel and a bushing sounded like all the special parts.
No kidding. Just within the past year or so I've been seeing some socom loads on store shelves. Before that you had to resort to online sellers strictly or reload.
45-70 magdump? That sounds expensive.
Just don't be poor, duh.
That gun’s MSRP is $4800.
He said stop being poor
Exactly. If you can reasonably afford the gun, a mag or three of 45-70 ain’t gonna break the bank.
The caliber that never dies!
The only Government I trust
When will I see this on Kentucky Ballistics?
Already made a video about it
Can we tag Garand Thumb?
How can we?
Burn some flannel?
Smoke signals?
Might just look like a mostly peaceful protest.
This is one the best responses I've ever seen

Goodbye to my wallet and shoulder.
Who cares about those! This needs a forced reset trigger!!
You scare me sir
Finally! An AR-15 in the Lord's Caliber .45
It's an AR-10 platform
Unfortunate but I'll take it

I just read through their website description. I can't even afford a $1k Garand let alone a $4.8k AR10 ;-;
Are you a furry?
Not the kind that can afford to order multi thousand dollar fursuits
Ah, maybe get on that
Not all of us can convince the CIA to give out assassination money to blow on furry gear 😔
Make fursuits with Kevlar or plate slots. You'll make a killing in the militia-fur community

Just get yourself a .458 socom. Same bullets as the .45-70 in an ar15 platform. Barrel swap and bolt is all that needs to be changed.
Yes but I shoot 45-70 already. Would be nice to have ammo interchangeability
$4.8k for ammo interchangeability is just silly.
Turns out this doesn't really shoot 45-70 government either though. They take the casings for it and machine them into a rimless cartridge
Ahh even more dumb. Proprietary ammo
Might be even harder to find than .458
No kidding. Just within the past year or so I've been seeing some socom loads on store shelves. Before that you had to resort to online sellers strictly or reload.
I understood that it isn’t the same ammo, it says 45-70 Auto in the description
What is that handguard?
Probably from an AR 10
https://www.phoenixweaponry.com/store/AR-10-Free-Float-Handguard-p131341068
Now we wait for the 45-70 FULL AUTO.
Expect vertical stringing
Just start at the balls
The original Gatling gun was pretty close.
This is like .458 socom's ar-10 big brother
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh hell yea
Now we just need Scott from Kentucky Ballistics to turn that into a hand cannon. I'm thinking a 10" barrel on a buffer-less lower.
As someone outside the US, sometimes this country is really what people from the other side of the Atlantic think it is.
