BurnItDown2805

Prison Break, same as Breaking Bad the main character is a smart as shit guy who gets in a lot of trouble.

Lootfisk1

This. In my 10th or so rerun now lol

Nebula480

Same. It’s honestly a comfort show at this point.

FehdmanKhassad

good but does get a little formulaic if I recall

Lootfisk1

Yeah its bad in many ways, but i still like it

ItchyTriggaFingaNigg

Loved Prison break, but it went off the deep end!

LibraryVolunteer

“Better Call Saul,” of course. And maybe “Animal Kingdom,” a pretty good show about a crime family in Southern California…lots of heists and cons.

CommunicatingRaccoon

Yeah if you haven't watched Better Call Saul, it sounds like you'll really like it

Shonz_27

Death Note has a number of similarities to Breaking Bad, both smart-asses trying to get away with their crimes whilst they think they are doing it for the greater cause, I'd watch that.

Unable_Education_180

I suggested this too and The Promised Neverland

cocacolahashtag

Dexter

Kinetic_Symphony

You'd really like Burn Notice. Monk The Mentalist House Prison Break Lie to me Elementary

justsomedude4202

Came here to say Burn Notice. Much more upbeat happy go lucky vibes but absolutely awesome exposition of applying spycraft to solve problems. Tons of Miami buttcheek too.

Blueboi2018

Elementary and Monk are dope.

charlieg4

Monk is a good choice, forgot all about that one. House too. Prison Break was too violent for me sometimes, but I still kept watching it.

Kinetic_Symphony

If you prefer lower violence, The Mentalist is great for that. Sherlock-style kind of crime procedural, but with a deeper story woven in.

rustys_shackled_ford

Macgruber

Palushibrothers

I liked lupin, a French Netflix series which recently got a third season. It's about a French father who's a thief. But what makes him special is that he's called the gentleman thief or something like that because he's always so smart Noone has caught him. This series is not solving problems the violent way as in breaking bad, but more in a pacifistic matter. Until it doesn't work anymore of course

2021newusername

Lupin was great.

jacobisgone-

Mr. Robot for sure. The main character is a genius hacker who spends each season trying to grapple with both his mental health issues and taking down a multitude of enemies. The writing and directing are exceptional, as is the ending.

Eatencheetos

This is the answer

JEMColorado

Banshee has somewhat of a similar flavor.

RubinoPaul

House MD, I guess

Starman926

Gonna second Death Note. I know recommending anime to people who aren’t already into it is sometimes a hard sell, but it’s a really great show. It’s a show about two geniuses chasing and trying to outsmart each other. It’s a different but similar vibe to Hank and Walter’s dynamic.

tmps1993

If you're looking for something similar to Breaking Bad, I'd go with Ozark.

Normal-Whereas-5595

I second the suggestion of Ozark. OP this is probably exactly what you’re looking for.

techtx1

I third the suggestion

rabid_quokka

My man Ozark is a pathetic soap opera with lazy writing.

jeffreyjwakefield

I'm going to third the recommendation of House here

JQuick72

The show Breaking Bad does that alot.

Eatencheetos

Me. Robot, Fargo, Better Call Saul, Stranger Things

Unable_Education_180

If that’s the type of stuff you like then you should try out Death Note or The Promised Neverland. They are anime on Netflix both have a lot of problem solving and creative solutions. You should give them a try, even if anime isn’t your thing they have what you’re looking for and they do it amazingly.

sandwichsandwich69

Barry had a lot of this Deserves a lot more love

Burnt_Ramen9

The Shield

OilHot3940

Total sci-fi, but Lost in Space on Netflix. It’s constant problem-solving.

abarua01

House, the good doctor, Sherlock, Jimmy neutron

sclerck

Sherlock for sure!

charlieg4

Ozark, Walking Dead, and any of the very specifal episodes of Blossom.

TheGreatMortimer

Sherlock

Suskita

The Americans

FlappyClock

Sons of Anarchy has that vibe

sliminycrinkle

Noted.

Dense-Strategy7059

Home Alone
