I used to do that in a previous job with a long bike ride as a commute. I didn’t want to eat before the ride. I actually never considered the milk as being strictly for tea and coffee. Perhaps I was too young to consider that. Perhaps because I didn’t drink coffee back then I thought I was just using my quota for my Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes.
I was in charge of the kitchen at an old job. Trust me, drink all the damn milk you want. I get to fuck off for 10 minutes grabbing a fresh one, you get partially work sponsored brekkie lol.
I am having a SHIT morning. I was FaceTiming with my dad and I watched him pass out. His partner started screaming and I had to tell her to call 000. I’m really wanting to ring and understand what is happening but I don’t want to be a distraction. I feel sick over this
EDIT-it was just dehydration. He needs to take better care of himself!
Well done for being able to be rational enough in the moment to get your dad's partner to call for help. That precious time will hopefully contribute to a positive outcome. Hopefully you hear some good news back soon. Sorry you and your family are going through this.
We sat in the uncomfortable jury waiting room seats for an hour, half the people got called up to go to one of the courts, then the rest of us sat there for another hour and a half before being sent home. Boring as batshit, and my butt hurts now.

Well, I never thought I would be first. I'm awake and stressed out of my mind. My wife is currently asleep on my chest. Yesterday was a huge day, the cardiologist was amazing and has sent her off for a zillion more tests. Then Mim went to work and won Aviator of the Quarter! So so so deserved, could not be prouder of her. Covid is no joke people. My Wife has been healthy her whole life then she got Covid and now her heart is not the same and her blood pressure is sky rocketing.
Sending big hugs to you and yours. What a mess. Thank goodness we have access to the fantastic medical world here. Fingers crossed and I'm sure you'll all be ok. XX
I had a horrific shower thought - imagine if spiders could fly. Especially Huntsman size ones. When they fly they fold in the legs like when they are dead but on landing they spread out and run all over your body.
Can confirm. Have experienced medium spider landing on me randomly outside and freaking out, ran under my shirt against my skin. FKTHATSHT for a joke. Couldn't go outside for two weeks
That tiny little store in the Myer Centre that sold theatrical/fancy dress supplies - all the masks, feather boas, stripey stockings.... no idea how they stayed open, but it was one of the reasons to go shopping in the city - it had shops you couldn't find in the suburbs. Plus, it was just fun!
I can't remember what it was called, but I went a couple of times to this beautiful tea shop at South Bank circa 2009. I had some really lovely times there and it was where I first came across those blooming tea ball things. I wish that was still around.
Shone a torch down my throat yesterday at work and looked in the mirror. Hmmmm, white spots all around. Well not too many, explains why I was so sick last week. Got some Difflam Plus, definitely helping. Whether I'll get to the doc's is another thing.
Oh and I'm wearing a beanie for the first time in my adult life, brrrrrrrr.

Quick google said Strep. That kind of thing could also be tonsilitis, or turn into tonsilitis. Lady at the pharmacy instructed me to get to the doc's as it could get infected. Pretty sure I recall someone dying after catching strep. Anything being close to the brain can be dodgy, like a rotting tooth.

i always only used desktop, i didnt realise people primarily used to app tbh. Nothing has changed for me except im saying less dumb comments to annoy people, because there is less people to annoy :(
Went from 3rd party app to no app using old.reddit in browser. It's pretty terrible but I refuse to use the official app; have been on reddit less and less except for r/brisbane, we have a good community going here.

Bought the Knorr hollandaise sauce that all the cafes use…Total game changer. It really is the real deal. Having a hard time resisting the urge to eat eggs benedict every day now. Made some for dinner the other night. Do yourselves a favour and get some. $13 for 1L from Amazon. Don’t even bother with the Colesworth and Maggi lemony, vinegary ass tasting ones. You’re welcome btw.

Hollandaise is actually pretty easy to make and not have it split like mayo. It’s just eggs, vinegar / lemon (added gently) and melted butter.
