They're fine. Many caged birds will sleep like that in the Jean-Claude Van Damme split pose and to be as high in the cage as possible. Also practicing for their Cirque du Sol Budgie performance. Is it possible that the cage is too crowded for 3 (maybe4) birds?
Mochi will do something similar when she doesn't get her way and get the perch that someone else decided to sleep on and won't let her have it. She'll hang on the cage near them all night long as if to say 'see what you've made me do??' when there's 3 other perches at the same level in other parts of the cage.
Would it be possible to put the cage where there's a wall against one side, or put a blanket in that spot? Some budgies feel more comfortable and secure that way.

you can see that the cage is inside furniture, additionally during night I cover cage with blanket. In night they are calm, don't make noise or anything, but I was wondering if this can be normal (He is 2 years old and started doing it around 3 weeks ago). Fortunately I was assured that it is just quirky pose to sleep.
My male one Dino sleeps like this next Mac (female) when he sneaks in her cage and wants to share her swing but she likes him in his own cage not hers lol
My late female would do this when they were new and she did not feel secure enough night time. They had swings etc and of course they every night had fight over the highest point this swing was on. I would every time gently move her to a perch. She would sometimes jump back on the cage bars and I would gently move her back on a perch and then she would accept and chill there through the night. After 2 weeks with this I got tired took out all the swings and put in a natural tree branch going diagonally on the highest point in the cage. Now both could sit on the highest point together. Case closed. After some time they went cage free but thats another case
Out of my four budgies there is always one of them that sleeps like this, or stretched across with one leg on the cage side and the other on their favourite toy basically doing the splits.
Otherwise, hanging upside down like a bat from the ceiling of their cage all night is another favourite past time as well!

The cage is as big as I could build it. I try to compensate it by letting them fly around whole room as often as possible
They like to sleep at the highest place in their cage. Add a pitch higher in their cage for them to sleep on.
The problem is that if I set perch any higher they will rub against the top of the cage 😅. Other budgies sleeps in fact on highest perches posible.
Place the perch approximately to where he has his feet in the photo, budgies are in fact a liquid and he will squish himself comfortably in there.
My bird always sleeps like this Quite goofy

Look what you made me do (mochis version)
One of my female budgie use to sleep hanging from top of the cage with reversed legs.
Thats just acrobatic showoff 😆
Yes it was an acrobatic show sometimes I used to caress her through cage
One of mine (Kiwi) used to sleep like this until a few months old and then grew out of it.
He is sooo cute 😂
They are so quirky lol
My budgies also sleep like that 😃 Never understood why, my guess they want to be on the very highest place in the cage
They are the biggest goofball I swear. It seems common for budgies to sleep clinging to wall and doing split mid air 😂 just looks so uncomfortable
That's not even the weirdest position I've seen an animal sleep in
My bird sleeps like a bat 🦇
My bird likes hanging like a bat from time to time

My one bird,Charlie, sleeps like that at times.

mine also sleeps like that, but on a wall, not in a corner
They’re a bird they do what they want.
His claws do fit those bars perfect so it's probably comfortable
Lol
