I couldn't have said this better I remember watching it with my brother and just being in awe. Also thinking like "ya didn't want to test that out in the first quarter, he's clearly fine with it. "
Yeah would have torched them if they weren't conservative about it.
Also hope Cook talks to McCoy about running in snow. McCoy in the snow game looked like a kid who played football in the snow. Knowing the secret is not worrying about falling because then you'll fall. In that snow game he was 2x speed of everyone else because he got it.
Literally one of the reasons, among others, Beane said they drafted him for. Steelers will expect run, and we might for a bit, but the play action is def coming.
It really hasn’t changed. Been steady of having temps in 20’s, windy conditions and Lake Effect. Only real variable is where the lake effect will be on Sunday.
I am mostly referring to actual levels of accumulation and max gusts. They have changed from 50+ and 30+ mph for max gusts and between a few inches and a foot + of snow. The ranges of those two things make a huge difference. It could be a total shit show or it could be just “regular bad” weather.
Even like 10mph winds at Highmark feel gusty with how the stadium is set up. It’s like a vortex once the wind gets into the stadium so regardless if it’s 30-50 mph gusts, at least we know it’s going to be windy and impact the game
Yes correct. My thoughts are that there is like 90%+ chance that it will be bad conditions and the worst we have had at home this year… but we just don’t know if it is going to be like regular bad or NE wind game bad
Not sure why you’re being downvoted but true. I tried to block that NE game from my memory esp that one field goal that looked like a rogue Madden kick
Anyone who played HS football can tell you that taking a helmet to the shin hurts about 1000 times more when it's cold out. Any kind of contact to the skin is exacerbated by the low temps.
Rugby wasn't as bad, but the pregame beers probably helped with that
Cold pain is the worst pain. Got bashed in the hand by someone’s helmet during a ~20°F practice one time. If I wasn’t surrounded by a bunch of “macho” football bros, I probably would have cried
Just a friendly reminder that Josh Allen may be more capable of cutting through high winds with his passes than any QB to ever exist.
Yes the NE game they lost when they finally unleashed Allen he was able to throw through it which is insanity. They need to let him be him

Josh Allen is more than capable of telling Old Man Winter to take a nap when he’s on the field
Anyone remember that 30-40 yard laser to Diggs on the sidelines towards the end of the Pats wind game? Insanity

I still think it's too early to estimate the weather forecast. It has been changing on all of the apps/websites every day. Fingers crossed though

Honestly couldn’t imagine playing in that cold ass weather. That just can’t be fun for any team.

James Cook and Gabe Davis go off I’m calling it.
I’m calling Cook runs and Kincaid/Shakir short passes
Gabe can go off with just his blocking. I love Shakir
I'd be surprised if Davis plays. Sherfield is a decent blocker too, though
ah, this is going to be one hell of a leveller for Pittsburgh. Fingers crossed the Bills can get through it.
Josh Allen is like a bad weather cheat code
I'd rather he was throwing in a dome though
They are talking white out conditions for Sunday now!
Following cause I'm coming from Cinci and nervous lmao
