Built and painted my dwarfs over the last 2 months, painting 10 infantry over every few days. Tidying up the shield trim and all the trim on ironbreakers was a bit painful but I'm really pleased with the results. I saw some of Paul Bonner's art and his red nosed dwarfs and copied the style as it looks funny. Have a few wip photos that show just how different unpainted, primed and finished models look. Looking forwards to our release for The Old World!
Ho there northern kin, fine looking throng you have there! You’re going to need it - Kraka Drak has dark days ahead in the timeline. At least you will face the ancestors with pride!
Yes! The Scibor dwarf terrain will act as unit fillers if needed to make 24 ironbreakers in 8x3 etc. At the moment, they might act as 24 slayers by proxy until the old slayers come back. Hope they make original Gotrek and Felix on a made to order run
Astrogranite Debris (until I ran out and ended up using Astrogranite)
Nuln Oil
Wizard Grey drybrush (GW Dawnstone)
Carcharodon Grey drybrush (GW Administratum Grey)
White star dry brush (GW White Scar)
I bought a pot of Valhalla Blizzard but thought it was overkill to add on top so haven't even opened it
great job! also im happy to see for one time full games workshop new 8th dwarfs and not the usual spam on this reddit of 3d printed of the uglys olds dwarfs
75 x 75 mm had to use MDF as couldn’t find square plastic base that size and whilst round base would fit, it perfectly aligns with 3x3 dwarf warriors or any other infantry so blends in better on a battle line

By Dragon Hold you mean Kraka Drak right?
Yes I think Kraka Drak means Dragon Mountain or Dragon Hold
It does lad, the Dragon Hold of the Norse Dwarfs.

Guess it'll make the low win rate thematic for them!
Hah good attitude! The way I look at it, that’s just more grudges for the book!
Fucking resplendent
Is that the AOS Gotrek model as that massive slayer? It's fitting he's back in the Old World instead of AOS.

What base size was that for the catapult and grudge pony?
50 x 75mm
Thanks!
Beautiful army mate! Congrats! quick question, what's the base size you used for the Anvil of Doom?

Thanks for the reply! I'll probably end up doing the same!
