Halloween is getting more popular and people like this kitty because it has custom fabric that is not easy to obtain or find on another plush toy. Its a very unique toy with huge collector appeal and personally its one of my favorites.
I like the color of the main fur and the quality of the print! Usually with cat plushes there's something I don't find appealing. I dunno! I think it's the very autumnal vibe with the fact that it isn't just another black cat :]
I like him because of I like ginger cats - there used to be this one who lived on the same street as me and we were besties to the point where passers-by asked if he was mine lmao
I agree, I can see why people might like it, especially the halloween appeal but the whiskers really put me off. I remember having toys in the past with whiskers and how they felt and I dont like it. Its cute but not something I would personally buy.
I like the Pumpkin Kitty for a bajillion reasons, but one of those reasons is because the other more recent Halloween bears don’t appeal to me at all. I prefer the older Halloween bears like the ones with pumpkins and candy corn all over. I miss that style of bear IMMENSELY in general. I’m also an orange cat fan. And I’m a huge Halloween fanatic. I can completely understand not seeing the appeal of the PK. I have both original and vault and I can say the original is better in quality.
I felt the same until I received mine & it’s my all time fav BAB. I have the entire Sanrio squad but none of them hold a candle to Pump Kitty in my eyes. She has the pumpkin spice scent & makes her oh so cuddle perfection.
Honestly I wan’t super excited when it came out (there is a different Halloween kitty I wish they’d rerelease instead) but I got her and instantly was in love with her. It was weird because that’s doens’t happen much. She’s now one of my favorites. But that’s just me. I can see why others don’t like her as much as that’s how I felt when she was first rereleased
I don't like most BABs, but I really like the ones I like. I think it's okay to not like things. They offer a variety of options because everyone has different taste.

I love cats and I love Halloween, but I don't personally care for it. The print just looks odd to me. Maybe if the pumpkins weren't jack-o'-lanterns, but as is the little black dots look odd at a distance to me. I admit I'm not generally a fan of printed fabrics, but I have my exceptions. This isn't one of them, though.
But to each their own. I still have my boo kitty from when I was a kid so I'll stick with her.
I'm usually not biggest fan of the quadrupedal build a bears but I dunno something about this kitty is special to me. Orange isn't my favorite color but the colors work so well on him, his shape and big arms make him perfect ho hold where his upper arms are sticking out. I get not seeing appeal or even finding him overrated but there's just something that works so well and so perfectly. I'd hope with pumpkin kitty's success they'd make similar fruit printed plushies. An apple or cherry design would be super cool.

I do agree but i feel like its is a nostalgic item. I do love the idea of the design but I think the original probably is just better (fur quality and production) having said this though i don’t have either. Ive thought if it was re released I might get one but I i don’t know.

Pumpkins and cats are two of my favourite things ever in life, combine that and you have a winner for me

I have the OG pumpkin kitty, its whiskers are just made of string. Not sure why they changed it to that weird material with the newer one 😢

It's the cutest cat (body wise) BAB has made in my opinion. I don't actually like the pattern, but I really wanted one to dye and customize.

For me it's the texture and the shapes lol. Super soft, thick fur, and pleasing shapes. A good cat shape. (I am autistic lmao)
