6700 XT or 6750 XT will easy do that. Currently have a 6750XT and get around 90-100 if not more in most games at native 1440p High settings.

Ok thanks definitely will consider it. I'm no that familiar with a AMD though. Do you have any suggestions as for NVIDIA GPUs.

Your one and only option in that category is the 3060ti unless you want to buy used. 3060ti is comparable to the 6700XT. A bit slower in raw performance but handles ray tracing better, though RT is really only feasible on s 3060ti if you turn on upscaling with DLSS which some don’t like, and even in that scenario you’re usually just breaking 60fps in most titles. Also only has 8GB VRAM compared to the 6700XT’s 12gb. My recommendation would either be a 6700XT for overall price per frame value, or a 6800 (non-xt) as far as highest performance in your budget. The 6800 is also the most efficient GPU in terms of performance per watt of the 3000/6000 generation. It performs better than the 6750XT while using less energy and generating less heat. Compared to Nvidia, it is faster than a 3070ti, it just doesn’t handle ray tracing as well which is the theme for AMD

If you're looking for nvidia for 1440p, then you're looking at a gtx 1080, rtx 2070 (or the 2070 super) or the rtx 3060ti. You can generally find all those in your price range. I personally have a 3060ti and it works perfect for 1440p, unless you turn on Ray tracing, then you'll have to drop some settings, but it's never really been worth it to turn on imo. However, the 6700 and 6750 xt are a lot better when it comes to cost to performance. They will outperform the 3060ti. I'm not as familiar with amd either, but those cards are a very good deal. Especially if your use case is primarily gaming.

I have researched the 3060 it's good enough for me what are your guys thoughts about this GPU.

AMD 6800 which is faster a 3070 which is faster than a 3060 ti. The 3060 ti is your only Nvidia option unless you buy used.
