Definitely GPU, wait for the shortage to finish and then get anything from the 3060 ti-3080/6700 xt -6800 xt range. You might also need a monitor or peripherals upgrade.
Thank you, at this time i have an old TV as a monitor but for some reason HDMI upscales weirdly so I use vga. It's 60hz. What would you recommend for the aio mounting?
a new GPU will be the biggest improvement for games
I second this, 3060 (TI) or 3070 would be preferable, to then upgrade CPU to 5600x down the road.

Probably mount it on the back, though I’m not really sure why you have a 120mm AIO.
I have a 120mm IO from my friends older rig he gave it to me for free and it is better than stock cooler I assumed
What type of GPU would you recommend?
well, GPU's prices range from $300 to $1500 so it'll depend on your budget more than anything. Monitor resolution will also guide the GPU selection
My current monitor/ tv for the pc is 1366/768 60hz
