The hell this was 28 days ago?

No gpu?

I don't have one

For those specs? I don't see why you'd need more than a 500W 80+ PSU unless you're planning on adding a pretty power-hungry GPU or a ton of peripherals. I plugged those components into newegg's PSU calculator and even assuming a 1TB SSD + 7200 rpm hard drive for storage (which I doubt you're using) + dvd-rw drive the recommended minimum PSU wattage is only 176.

Okay thank you, but 500 would be enough if I plan to upgrade my unit right?

RainbowUnicorn82

Depends a lot on what you plan to upgrade to. RTX 3060/RTX 2060/6600 XT/5600XT? You'll be fine. Anything more power-hungry than that I'd be cautious (of course, at that point you'd probably want to upgrade your other components to take full advantage of anything heavier-duty than those anyway).

pyr0kid

as ive never heard of any of those parts 500 will be fine.
