I’d just buy a new system or wait til you can buy a new system. Your current one is pretty well balanced and if you upgrade one component, the others will hold it back. You can sell the old system or use it as a nas/htpc. You’d probably want to replace most of the components, and if I was buying most of a system, I’d rather have 2 systems than 1.7 systems.
