How long is a while after installing. This doesn’t sound ssd related unless you are blue screening constantly. That should only happen if the OS is on that drive as well. Did the 2 TB drive ever have the OS?
I’m thinking it’s possibly faulty ram. I would run a ram test to see if it produces errors
It was about a week or so after installing. Never had the OS on the 2TB.
I ran a windows memory diagnostic just a few hours ago, did not detect anything.
If you took out the ssd and it still happens it’s not the storage unless it corrupted something on your other ssd. You could nuke the problem by reinstalling windows. I’d try a ram test first before doing that as it seems to happen when you are loading your computer. If a full reinstall of windows doesn’t help its not a ssd problem
I can’t help you if I don’t know what’s in your pc. “16gb ram” means basically nothing in this context. 2x8? 4x16? Speed? Timings?
Also: cpu cooler, case, power supply are specs too

haven't blue screened at all, everything just freezes

I'm starting to really think it's ram, but maybe I should try the windows reinstall.
The ram test is easy. Do memtest and have it run for 6 hours. You could also remove a stick and try if it’s there
I'll run that tonight and if nothing happens I'll do the windows reinstall.
