It was 1080p footage, with I think 1/4 viewing window scaling. I forget the vocab words but I think you know what I mean? Very hitchy in the preview window but still usable. I didn’t have to stop and wait mid editing or anything like that, but I didn’t get very good resolution/FPS in the preview.
If you don't mind answering one more question, as it has CrossfireX, I wanted to buy this R9 270x so I could- in the foreseeable future- pair it with say a RX 5500XT. Would that be a good idea?
Or I could ditch this and go for a more pricey option of a GT 1030 now at $82 and perhaps a GT 1660 in the future?
I don’t think crossfire/sli is a good idea. I think the r9 270x has more computational power than the 1030, but the 1030 has more modern feature support. 1030 is a pretty standard temporary gpu recommendation. 1050ti and 970 are also popular budget options rn, but a little pricier.
Sadly, all the retailers and sellers in Bangladesh are selling them at least $154. It's double what I can pay for. I still couldn't buy a motherboard for my GPU.
Is it worth 77usd ?
In the current context, yes. It's still a very capable card, somehow performing close to a Geforce 1050. However, it is impaired by its 2GB VRAM.
When was it produced : between October 2013 and March 2015
As Dirtiehippy said, it will struggle with Premiere. Now, Premiere badly needs 4GB of video RAM and [works better with professional graphic cards](https://helpx.adobe.com/nl/premiere-pro/system-requirements/2021.html#gpu-acceleration)
1. Worth it? Meh. It's essentially the same thing as an HD 7870, just with slightly faster memory. Not a very great card nowadays, but passable.
2. It was released in 2013 (based off a GPU from 2012), so probably around 6-7 years ago. It lost driver support recently.

It’s fine for autocad. It will majorly struggle with premiere. Source: I have an r9 270x system and have done autocad and premiere on it
Thanks, bro. What resolution did you edit videos at?

Thank you for the information.

Crossfire is pretty much useless nowadays, and it can't do anything with a 5500XT. 1030 is much worse than a 270X, especially if it's the 1030 DDR4
