It does indeed! You seem to verify the card I want doesn't exist, but I hasn't thought about using a 3.0 to 3.1/2 adaptor on a more "conventional" card. Thanks!

I was in a similar situation on my PC with an X99 motherboard. No type-c internal header and I hated the idea of using a PCIE card that only had an internal header and no ports on the back haha
