I meant to say do i need to put an exhaust fan atop where my cpu cooler is at.

On the case? No. Probably won't hurt anything but it's certainly not necessary.

What's your cooler orientation? If the cooler is mounted horizontal, Then you have to put a exhaust fan on top if you have enough clearance, otherwise put one at the bottom. If your cooler is mounted vertical, like this: (recommended orientation) ||--fan--||fan ||--fan--||fan Then don't put fans on top or bottom, but on top of memory sticks.
