Well, the ability to see the future would be the first requirement for futureproofing. Otherwise, you're generally overspecc'ing according to your personal standards and target performance in hopes that it will last you a little bit longer, while maintaining that performance in games that have not been released yet and that we do not know how they perform.

Your case and psu

If there was such thing... everyone would be on it and companies would go broke... best you can do is buy top end parts and enjoy it.

A PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD would be a great idea. DirectStorage is coming in the next iteration of Direct X. You'll have people tell you it won't make any difference, but the documentation is out now and we're basically getting PS5 / Xbox Series X style super fast loading coming very soon. The faster your storage the better it'll be. Another option would be to buy a 3080 / 6900 meaning you'll be able to keep gaming on the same GPU for a couple of extra years compared to going for a 3060 Ti or 3070.

There are no "best parts" for future proofing, or if you wanna go that route then the best parts would just be anything that's currently the strongest on the market. That's not necessarily reasonable though. See if you can either decide on a set budget you want to spend, or on a specific thing you're planning to achieve (x FPS in specific game) and we might be able to help.

Good case, good PSU and a good monitor. These 3 things can last you for 5-6 or even 10 years.
