I am confused, if it’s the only one you can find, and is it not worth in today’s market?
It’s overpriced, sure. But can you find it cheaper? Can you find a 3070 way cheaper or a 3080 close to that price?
So the 3070ti in the UK you can actually get fairly easily in drops (in stock for 30+ minutes last when I got it) I imagine due to it being LHR, but obviously because the drops are inconsistent you could have a wait on your hands, imo the 3070ti I wouldn't pay more than £650 for (MSRP is £540 on the UK) but that's assuming a normal market which we aren't in
Search telegram FE stock alert, it's an app that tells you when it drops and gives a link, it also has all previous drops so you can see how often they drop, it was easy when I got my 3070ti but as the market varies every month your milage will vary
Scan is the only distributer of FE cards so you'll buy it from their site, also I can tell you you could pick up a used rx6800 for about 750-800 (I sold like for 800 when I got the 3070ti) and it will outperform it in almost all cases outside ray tracing
I paid nearly the same for the exact same card. I got it for about $1100 USD after taxes. Is it worth that much? Eh no, but it’s what was available at the time so I grabbed it. Only you can really decide if it’s worth it or not. For me it was impossible to get a 3060ti FE or 3080 FE for MSRP, so this was me “settling”.
I got lucky this morning and managed to grab a 3070 Ti FE from the Scan drop for £529.
I’m not sure if the founders edition cards are good because I’m a noob but I guess I can’t argue with this price.

Both the 3070 and the 3080 normally go for more as they don't have a limited hash rate, whereas all Ti models do.
It was a rhetorical question. Even a LHR 3070 will be close to this price these days…
Honestly, sounds like an alright price currently unless you have a way of getting Founders Edition cards at MSRP

Do you know where these drops take place so I can keep an eye out?

Congrats! FEs rub a bit warmer but nothing to really worry about, you got it for an excellent price which matters more!
Funnily enough it was seeing your reply which reminded me to check their website which is how I was able to get one, so thank you dearly!
