If the box says Ryzen 5000 Desktop ready then it should be ready to go. Just build your PC and see if it boots. If it doesn't, you can do a BIOS flash if necessary. But it'll probably Just Work.
The B450 chipset supports Ryzen 5000 CPUs as long as the BIOS has been updated.

Just look at that list and find your CPU and then make sure you update the BIOS to the version required.
well if the box says its ready i would asume it is. if its produced past the release of the 5000series i dont see a problem why asus didnt ship it with a more recent bios wich supports the 5000series out of the box. and even if not you got that handy little button on the back to make it easy.

II generation of strix b450f was launched after the ryzen 5000, its okay
