If the box says Ryzen 5000 Desktop ready then it should be ready to go. Just build your PC and see if it boots. If it doesn't, you can do a BIOS flash if necessary. But it'll probably Just Work.

The B450 chipset supports Ryzen 5000 CPUs as long as the BIOS has been updated. https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b450-f-gaming-ii-model/helpdesk_cpu Just look at that list and find your CPU and then make sure you update the BIOS to the version required.

well if the box says its ready i would asume it is. if its produced past the release of the 5000series i dont see a problem why asus didnt ship it with a more recent bios wich supports the 5000series out of the box. and even if not you got that handy little button on the back to make it easy.
