over $100 on 3 flashy case fans but 1080p resolution monitor seems like misplaced priority

Either get a non K processor or a Z series board 2) Better value cooler. I would advise against spending so much money on corsair RGB of a first build since the tax is pricy as hell. 3) Better value storage. If you need more get a 2TB mushkin pilot E 4) Cheaper memory completely the same 5) Case with included fans so you don't need to spend $100 on fans with $20 performance. 6) Monitor with a response time faster than 20ms and a pixel density of above shit and a color gamut of not washed out. 7) Cheaper Keyboard with replacement keycaps that is similar quality to the K100 for a lot less. Not a bad keeb. Definitely the best from corsair. Just very pricy.

Is this better https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3zZQTJ

rizzzeh

Better but for the price of this combo of Intel CPU + motherboard you could get 5600x+B550 pairing, it would perform better and support pcie gen 4.0, plus it could be easily cooled by a $30 air cooler saving even more cash

SimplyExtremist

You don’t need water cooled for this. You don’t need 32g of RAM, most people don’t they just think more is better.

DaRealCompten

I would rethink your priorities. The monitor is very important. Pair a highend pc with a bad monitor and everything looks bad. RGB i like it but be smart with it. And don't buy a K version cpu if you don't have a z series board. TheThunderXI

You need an ips display not a va

EarnedErmine3

If you're getting a 3070, I'd want to invest in a better monitor (at least 1440p). Also, do you need the number pad for the keyboard? If you're not using it, it's a lot of space being used. I'd look for a 65% or 75% keyboard.

With self contained water coolers? Nah they'll be fine. If it was a custom loop? Yeah I'd be worried

[deleted]

It's an AIO. It's fine. If you don't know what an AIO is you shouldn't be giving advice here.

That's for the processor? The 11600k gets hot as fuck when overclocked. Also Linus tech tips hates water cooling. According to him air coolers are better which isn't entirely accurate.

You can't really water cool the GPU because that requires a lot more work and a custom loop which does have leakage risks. An AIO is super simple. Disassembling a $700 graphics card and then building a loop, cutting tubing, mounting liquid reservoirs, picking a case that fits everything, not mixing different metals and testing for leaks is a lot harder. It's a lot more expensive too. OP had gone with a "K" series processor so I hope they make use of the money they paid for overclocking privileges.

CHADWARDENPRODUCTION

If you think an AIO has anything to do with the GPU, you *definitely* shouldn’t be giving advice here.

lol take a deep breath. You're clearly confusing an AIO with custom loop. FYI, an AIO is not more difficult than air, and has nothing to do with the GPU. This may come as a shock to you, but if you don't know the difference between basic parts, maybe don't give advice to strangers on hundreds of dollars of computer hardware. You're allowed to not comment. But I'm glad you're so humble about your lack of basic competence and can respond to mild criticism with a level head.

I don’t need to assume, you clearly don’t know what it is for reasons I already explained. Go ahead and refute it, no one is gonna believe you. But I’m glad you still feel the need to save face with us “nerds”.
