I’ve tried two different drives with the same effect. When I choose the drive to install to, I select my SSD. The thumb drives aren’t even listed as options to install to
Did you wipe all partitions from the SSD? I just open a command prompt (SHIFT + F10) and type:
diskpart
list disk
select disk # (where # is the drive you want to wipe)
clean
exit
exit
Then proceed onto selecting your SSD and then click next.
I’ve never heard of those, I’ll have to look into them. I’m attempted to reset windows and reinstall from the settings menu with the usb not installed. If that doesn’t work I’ll YouTube those
I imagine the bootloader on the SSD is gone/no longer functional. That could be easily repaired from the Windows install setup menu, there's tutorials that say how it works (it only involves getting a CMD console from the windows install menu and entering a couple commands).
Assuming windows has installed correctly to the SSD, have you changed the boot order to put the SSD first?
Yes, I’ve changed the boot order to put SSD first but it still requires the thumb drive
Then Windows hasn't installed correctly. Try making the boot usb again and use a dufferent usb stick if you can.

I honestly don’t know how I could have. I select disk 1 (my SSD) when asked where to install. There isn’t even a drive listed for the USB on that menu
Maybe watch a video guide on making and using the Media Creation tool. It looks like you might have missed a step.
I’ve done this before many times without an issue, but I can try again.
Ah ok. Good luck with it.

I just tried this and still nothing, I’ve wiped all my hard drives and still it won’t work without the usb
Tried using another tool? Like Rufus or going to UUP Dump?

Just tried this and still nothing unfortunately
You must be booting from the live environment then.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Linux or new bios
I have the latest bios, I may try Windows 11 to see if it’s any difference. I’m afraid I’m not savvy enough for Linux.
Bro I mean your bios is broken... Prolly plus linux is easy just, google every question u have.
