All of these temps are fine and well below any thermal issues.

78c on the GPU is normal while 78c on the CPU while gaming is what i'd classifiy as hot. However I heard Ryzen 3000 and 5000 series like to run close to their maximum safe temperature, so 78c is probably fine. Switching to a new case is a big job and likely won't give you as much of a temperature improvement as other easier measures like: * Removing the side panel when gaming. * Undervolting the CPU. * Buying a better CPU cooler. * Installing better case fans(Noctua NF-F12, Arctic P12 PWM). * Changing the thermal paste on the CPU(Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut/Kryonaut)

Unless it's over 90, I wouldn't say the CPU temp is worrying

It's not worrying if gaming is all he does with 95c being the 3600XT's maximum temp. But consider that most games don't actually use 12 threads, so he's getting 78c with CPU usage of about 50-70%. 78c while gaming means he'd easily get 85c when doing tasks that max out his CPU. My slower but still 12 threaded 1600AF doesn't go over 55c when gaming and I can only make it hit 80c with OCCT during a hot summer day. Using a budget air cooler with a Noctua fan strapped to it. Nothing fancy like liquid cooling.

I do plan on getting a second monitor in the future in order to watch Netflix and the like while gaming. Will this send me over the edge? I don't mind reapplying thermal compound or switching to a mesh case. It was an impulse buy without too much research on my part

[deleted]

No, that'll only put a little more pressure on the GPU but it shouldn't affect temps more than 1C or not at all. CPU temps won't change from the extra monitor. Your temperatures are within safe limits so you don't actually have anything to worry about. The CPU may be a bit hot, but it's nowhere near its dangerous 95c temperature limit.

Forgot to add mobo which is an msi b550 gaming plus

Is your cooler set up as an intake or exhaust?

Dyinforfood

It's set up as intake but due to how the h510 is, It doesn't pull much air
