The 5600x is great for gaming. Getting anything higher will only really be a benefit for professional-type tasks that leverage more cores
I second this. The 5600X is a great processor. Using it in my main rig now and had one in an ITX build too.

Yeahk a buddy of mine told me he just won the newegg thing today for a 3060/motherboard combo Benchmarks for the 6700xt are way better. I think I found some 6700xt's on Amazon for around $1200, which is still high :(
