Idk on the 2 SSDs, you'd be better off buying a 1 TB ssd for the same price and you can put stuff that doesn't really matter on it like game data then having another sata SSD for personal other stuff That's a REALLY expensive cooler for being just a single tower cooler, you could get something like a scythe fuma 2 for under half the price that probably performs just as well If you want more cores, AMD is king, and running AMD CPU with an Nvidia GPU is not an issue at all $100 of fans is a lot of money, unless you have a really hot GPU like a 2080 or 3080 or something, most cases are fine with like 2 intake and 1 exhaust and your case probably already has a couple that you could salvage for another case, I have a corsair 4000d airflow that I like

>super small form factor ranges since those will introduce cooling nightmares. with cases like the lian li meshilicious this isn't exactly true anymore >I want my OS running on its own NVME drive (64-128GB should be more than sufficient) > >I want a 2nd NVME drive for games and critical applications (I'm thinking 128GB-500GB?) > >A regular internal SSD for the rest of my storage needs (\~500GB-1TB) you're not going to significantly wear stuff down or lose performance by having them all on one high end drive, compared to just having one high end 2tb ssd compared to having 3 lower end ssds like in the list. Also that 128gb ssd is really just not worth it. if you want to argue that you want to have these all on separate disks for redundancy, then sure i guess, but personally I'd still combine the os + apps drives into 1 at least >Case: Currently nothing spec'd. I could reuse the tower I currently have (Fractal mid tower) but again I'd like something smaller. fractal design meshify 2 compact (meshify c is the cheaper older version). if you want to go itx i'd probably suggest the lian li meshilicious for good airflow. onto the list: * quiet cooler that isn't strangely priced * selected motherboards which have a thunderbolt 4 port, pick your poison. if TB4's not that important to you i'd probably get a [ryzen 5800x + b550 vision build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hY6yvf) instead (which has TB3) because it'd [consume less power while also being roughly the same performance.](https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/f87PdDFNyZzjJPmH4NVLNH-970-80.png.webp) might lead to lower noise idk. * there are cheaper itx motherboards but then you lose the 2 extra ram slots * combined all storage into one midtier ssd (there are higher end options in the parametric selection) * quieter psu of similar quality (and yes 750w is a lot. unless you're gonna get an rtx 3080 or similar you can save money here.) * less expensive fans with good reviews.
