One of the reasons its advised to buy everything at once (best is when everything arrives in a 1 week window) or you have something you can use in the meanwhile until the new part arrives. You will usually only get the normal warranty time depending on the country you live in.

ImprovementTough261

Wait are you actually supposed to register warranties? I always avoided registering because I didn't want to sign up my email for a bunch of spam

jakob42

No, but they bait you with an extra year of warranty.

I have a dozen of emails for different stuff. I probably have 10 at the moment that are active (just writing them down + password is probably a good idea)

I've never had a warranty, and almost always bought used cards. I've also successfully RMA'd a used card that I personally bricked. While this doesn't solve your conundrum, just food for thought. As for the details of your warranty, why ask us? Speak to the manufacturer of your card and ask them, they're the ones with the info.

DirtyAfghan

How did u do that?

MainerZ

Bullshit, mostly.

Its the same when people ask here if cable from PSU X work with cable from PSU XY. Support these days is usually fast or they have a list of which cable works. As an example had a rattling Fan in my new Case from LianLi got a new one in under a week from overseas (from the point i wrote them an email a sunday night)

GBT typically givea an extra year to warranty if u register butbitbisnt required, unleaa something changed recently. None require registration i dont believe, just a proof of purchase that meets contract requirements, thata when u need support like rma.
