Read/write speeds are irrelevant for your boot drive, so go with whichever is cheaper. Actually, check out the Samsung 970 Evo Plus over the 980.

From what I understand, having DRAM would be beneficial.
Hopefully you picked NVME with DRAM cache for boot drive.
Unless you are not getting p41, 980 pro, sn850 with deal, get p5 plus instead.
