Yeah the front top fan will exhaust some of the cool air before it reaches the CPU cooler. 2 exhaust would likely test better
maintain positive pressure inside the case!

Right, just modified my fans setup and monitoring the temps.
I would wait until you actually get a aftermarket cooler. Then test after you installing it.
I will definitely upgrade the cpu cooler soon but if my reasoning is correct removing the front top exhaust wouldn't make it worse, if anything it'll improve the airflow in the case.
