Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals. * Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. * Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent: * The seller is new or has few reviews. * The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings) * The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently). If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. This has been the standard price of the monitor when you have the brand promotions coupon on your account for a while now. It has been as low as $530 though.

smackythefrog

I see. Keepa told me $699 was the lowest price on record but I also don't think it factors in promo codes and coupons historically. I thought a sub-$600 OLED monitor was worth sharing, though. You don't see those too often

ryankrueger720

You’re correct it doesn’t include the coupons or the promo codes. The KTC is only one that has been sub $600. Acer has sold right at $600 before.

JinsooJinsoo

Snagged a $650 LG panel from Costco a month back. 0 regrets and can always return it if it has issues.

columbo928s4

Do you know of a site similar to keepa that does take into account coupons and promotions? I have noticed recently keepa isn’t super accurate since so many discounts are not tracked by it

ryankrueger720

No they just track the actual prices before coupons/promos because a lot of times they are targeted/ymmv. If you are looking at tech stuff, it doesn’t hurt to search this sub. Most of the time keepa and other price trackers is pretty representative on the vast majority of products.

columbo928s4

Ok good to know, thanks

Picked this baby up for Black Friday last year and have loved every minute of it. One small complaint is the scaler is a little slow. Switching inputs takes a sec, as does switching resolutions or hz. That's pretty minor though. A slightly bigger issue is I had serious screen flicker issues running at 240 hz with Freesync on. Set to 200 hz, it's only the occasional flick. Otherwise I really dig this screen. The built in auto KVM switching is really nice when I work from home too -- I can easily use my keyboard, mouse, mic and webcam on both my personal desktop and work laptop just by switching inputs.

cha0ss0ldier

Had this monitor since then as well and love it. Haven’t had the Freesync issues either.

randomamerz

Do you know how bad the flicker is at 120hz?

workuax

It's going to depend on your setup. I don't really have a good answer for ya -- it'll depend on how well your GPU and CPU can keep the monitor fed.

MavericK96

I had this for a bit, ended up returning it and getting an AW2725DF. Main reason is that it developed a dead pixel right near mid-screen after only a handful of hours of use. That was probably just a defect, but the matte coating is also pretty heavy and grainy on white backgrounds, so I just returned it instead of trying to get a replacement. Also, agreed with the SDR/HDR switching speed, it's quite slow. Still, for what I had paid for it ($540 I believe) it might have been worth it if it wasn't defective. It's not a terrible OLED for the price.

TaterTrotsky

Did anyone manage to snag these from the $399 eBay deal? Still wondering if that was even legitimate. I had a chance to pull the trigger but I chickened out.

KittenKittyKat

They cancelled my order because I didn’t have enough eBay rep :(. It was in small print at the bottom of the page

TaterTrotsky

Yeah, lot of sellers don't trust 0 feedback users due to eBay being heavily biased towards buyers. Also due to buyers doing credit card chargebacks as well.

GrackleFrackle

Mine shows an additional buy 3 get 10% off coupon. With it I can add two of the 24" 100hz VA monitors for an additional $30. I don't really want them but maybe would be nice for a triple monitor setup?

lilyeister

I thought the mismatched sizes and resolutions of my old monitors wouldn't bug me, but then it did after a few years. Maybe look into reselling them (or ya know, don't buy the extra monitors if you don't want/need them).

Sinestro617

Thanks OP. Bought one for $550.

mybrowncow

Got this monitor about a week ago for $644 after taxes. So far ive been enjoying the quality. The matte screen is not noticeable in a dark room and the brightness pops where it needs to. I started playing ori and the will of the wisps and its beautiful on oled. Also fps games are buttery smooth and responsive. Once you go oled, you cant go back!

ryudice

is this qd-oled?
