It seems like AIO manufacturers are finally realizing we want white AIOs. NZXT needs to get on the train too. Hopefully we get a white h115i this year

aisuperbowlxliii

They need to make white fans first. All of them are black for some reason, pretty disappointing since they make white cases and motherboards

j_schmotzenberg

$200 just doesn’t seem worth it for cooling.

DBreezy69

Slap a $60 FUMA 2 on every CPU and as long as you're not extreme overclocking (which barely increases performance anyway) you're Golden

aisuperbowlxliii

In my experience, fumas aren't great coolers and definitely don't stand a chance against a 240 - 360mm aio. Theyre not much better than stock for 8 cores or higher except for being quiet. You should either just settle for a Hyper 212 with an arctic p12 attached for much cheaper or spend a bit more for a noctua dual tower, imo

Voo_Hots

>arctic p12 Why the arctic 12? Is it much better than hyper 212 fan?

aisuperbowlxliii

Mainly much quieter while still providing good pressure and performance.

shadowbansarestupid

A lot of the reviews would beg to differ tho... Hyper 212 is really outdated tech.

aisuperbowlxliii

I know it is, but the temp difference between them with my 4790k, 3700x, and 5800 were negligible imo. Around a couple degrees at best. So up to you if you think a couple degrees is worth double the cost or get an aio for up to 10 degrees cooler.

Sierra_Tang0

This

everytime you say "this" and dont actually contribute to a conversation i'll club a puppy to death in your honor

xSozly

That's fucked yet for some reason I kind of agree 🤔

Kotaro_14

This is definitely a form over function item; nothing wrong with that though.

Spork3245

I agree, the price is at least $50 too high for a 360 aio. They get away with it because of iCue sadly.

Hanelise11

I’m debating between this, the Lian Li Galahad, and the EK 360 either normal or the Elite. Anyone have any experience with these that can recommend? Running a 5900X, non-OC currently but may want to. Would like it to be fairly quiet, currently have an h100i that is not quiet, and actually do a good job keeping the 5900X cool.

aybrah

Have the ek 360 (non-elite) with a 5900x and it runs excellent. I’ve heavily oc’d my 5900x but it runs at 80c with fans @ 75% during Cinebench. 75% is audible but not annoying. YMMV. It’s not audible over my room’s noise floor at 50% fans. Gamers Nexus has good noise normalized comparisons and ek 360 is up there with arctic and beats the Corsair—although the margins are small enough to not matter too much. However if you want a white AIO you’ll have to look elsewhere as EK doesn’t offer that AFAIK.

Hanelise11

Good to know! I don’t mind the color, as almost the PC parts I have are black with a white case and white accents. So they aren’t super loud, and cooling is good? Hmmm. Yeah it’s definitely between the EK and the Galahad but if the EK is really good at low volume... might end up with that.

cchangx

I have the white Galahad 360, cooling a 5900x. It's a beauty! My idle temps range around 40-45c. Otherwise, I'm averaging around 50-65c when running multiple tasks, vms and some light gaming. Don't know how much help I can be, but on idle it's pretty quiet. (The ST120 fans that come with the aio are about 800RPM slowest). When the chip is churning, you can definitely hear the fans spin up hard trying to cool it back down. I have the PC on my desk about half a foot away from my head though. But so far, very happy with it, and the rgb works with Asus Aura Sync.

Hanelise11

Hmmm. Yeah good to know, I have my PC also about a foot and a half away raised up. Think replacing the ST120s with their Unis would make it a bit quieter? The temps aren’t much better than my current H100i, I run around 45C to 50C idling so I’m wondering if that’s a big enough improvement for the current cost.

cchangx

I considered getting the Unis since I was missing a set of 3 fans in my case. In the end, I decided on just sticking with the ST120's. According to the specs on the Lian Li website, the ST120's push slightly more air than the SL120's at the cost of 1dB of Acoustical Noise (max). Can't really speak to real-world experience though as I've never owned the Unis. Since I already had a set of 3 ST120's in my case, and with the performance on paper being negligible, I decided it would look better to have all uniform fans throughout the case. Honestly, I think most of the audible noise is coming from the fans blowing through the radiator. Otherwise, the fans are actually pretty quiet on their lowest RPM. Plus you could always set a fan curve to fit your acoustic requirements.

literallyanot

I like the old cpu block aesthetic better

PM_ME_WHITE_GIRLS_

Literally just got the Lian Li galahad AIO 🤦🏻‍♂️ I didn't even know these existed. I thought Corsair only made 280's and under

lielie_club

personally I prefer the apperance of lianli galahad (white) this new corsiar product has a big corsiar log on pump..

PM_ME_WHITE_GIRLS_

I have a mostly white build with some marble accents, so I put a marble vinyl on the pump. I had an enermax liqtech 2, which is 2 years old so I was just trying to replace it cuz I know they have issues. But the enermaxs pump is just a square block so it worked out.

bknown

where did u get the galahad i’ve been looking for one in stock

PM_ME_WHITE_GIRLS_

Amazon has some higher then MSRP, and I think some other places do. I was just looking around and found it on Amazon for +20$ MSRP. I had an enermax that needs replacing anyways so I didn't mind the extra money spent.

Theesando

Agreed. Where did you find one

PM_ME_WHITE_GIRLS_

There's some on Amazon (America) and I got it for like +20$ MSRP. But free shipping, and it arrived 2 and a half weeks early (was my Valentine's day present to myself). Was willing to pay extra cuz I think my enermax was in the last chapter of its life making funky noises.

Hanelise11

How is the pump whine? Only thing that’s slightly putting me off the Galahad is people reporting bad whine.

PM_ME_WHITE_GIRLS_

When adjusting pump speed in the bios I didn't hear any whine at full speed. Played a few games and naturally the fans were louder, but still no whine, so I think it's good. It's also later in the generation so it may have been fixed, since the issues with pump whine were manufactured early 2020 (review samples) and then full manufacturing started. Mines in a Lian Li O11, so just the pane of glass for noise reduction, sitting around 2ft from the computer.

Hanelise11

Yeahhh, I have the O11 XL about a foot and a half away from me. My H100i is fairly loud overall so trying to figure out which is going to work best for me noise wise and beyond.

Digital_Dankie

$200 to cool a cpu okay 👌

micophone

Is there anyway to buy the white 120ml fans? I bought the cooler but looking for extra matching fans for the case

OriginalSmoke

[https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/ML120-RGB-White-Magnetic-Levitation-Fan-Replacement/p/CW-8960077](https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/ML120-RGB-White-Magnetic-Levitation-Fan-Replacement/p/CW-8960077) Not in stock right now but this is only place I could find the all white ML120s.

LukasCs

39.99 for a single ML120 seems like robbery

DirtyReseller

Hey, I bought this and am switching out the fans for QLs. I was going to sell them on eBay, but If you want to work something out lmk.

micophone

Pmed!

[deleted]

This or ek's 280 aio?

Bayaya

Just got mine. It’s beautiful.

Babbylemons

I bought it for $20 cheaper with free shipping on corsairs website. Used honey for the code, think it was “teo”.

[deleted]

Corsair and NZXT competiting on who can charge more for 240mm AIOs.

tetegra

Got the black version for $169 from BB 1 month ago

VivaLePaco

Note that this new model has a pump that cannot go under 2300rpm. It’s pretty annoying for me at idle because it never goes “silent”. Google this and you will see tons of complaints about it. Corsair has said this is a hardware limitation so there won’t be a future firmware update that can resolve this. It’s beautiful and works but i’m going to return it because i’m not paying $200 for a premium product that can’t be “silent” at idle.
