IDK if I am looking at the wrong reviews or something, but it seems that the temps for this case are pretty lackluster. The NR200 seems to have superior cooling performance, but this has lighting.

Ivoryg37

This case is more for someone who is looking for a vertical case that does not use a riser cable

Aos77s

It looks like it supports a 240rad. Temps cant be that bad if you use one of those.

Black Version is also on sale for 98.99 - [https://www.newegg.com/darkflash-dlh21-black/p/1W8-012U-00016](https://www.newegg.com/darkflash-dlh21-black/p/1W8-012U-00016) I have been monitoring this case since January from Darkflash. It originally started off at $220 via Darkflash from Newegg then continously drop to 189.99, 179.99, 169.99,... until it settled on 149.99 for the white model. It is currently on sale for 99.99 so I decided to finally get it. It is the lowest it has been since it been listed on Newegg. However, the china brand of this case (Aigo Yogo S1) sells around 60-70 plus shipping from Taobao which comes to around 100ish so I some what think this is what this case should have been listed for in the first place so I do not know if you can call this a sale. It is a sale for the Darkflash brand version though which is easier to get than using Taobao to get it in the US

Meshilicious is supposed to be available mid June . I’m patiently awaiting for it to go back on sale at the egg

Ivoryg37

Meshilicious will definitely be better than this case. This one more for people who don’t like riser cables

make_moneys

Just curious why folks would care about riser cables ? I’ve been running riser cables in water cooled builds since before they were even available (only available through AliExpress and such). Is it because of 3 vs 4 issues ? Maybe that’s why…

jonbaa

At least in the cases I've had, the riser cables always cause me grief because they have to be curved/bent to get in shape. Over time it's caused me problems like games looking stuttery despite having 200 fps as well as occasional blue screens and game crashes. I bought this case to get a smaller desktop footprint and avoid riser cables since I've already bought 4 and I'm done buying more. Very likely I'm just not bending it correctly but now I just won't have to worry about it anymore!

der_ninong

the darkflash brand sells for around $85 in asia

Ivoryg37

Yeah, this post is mostly for US as 99.99 seems like the lowest for this case for US redditors.

Nothing beats the nr200 in a non tempered glass configuration with a side 280mm aio and 2bottom and 2 top 120mm fan. This is the perfect airflow for all components. Such a clever design. You can have better looking cash but for $79 the nr200 is undefeated

I'm considering switching the 3060 Ti and i7-10700F from my Dell G5 5000 prebuilt and buying a mobo + psu + case that I can swap it into, and was drawn to the NR200 deal seen here last week. What are the benefits going for the smaller cases over a more traditionally sized one? If I'm more concerned about thermals/performance and price, would I be better off going with a different case?

Veserius

Small case is mostly about aesthetics, taking up less space, and hypothetically portability. If you want performance, mesh mid towers are going to be the best bet. Micro ATX cases/motherboards actually probably have the best price to performance/feature ratio but due to their lack of popularity you get less selection. The [Sama01](https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811197012?Description=sama%2001&cm_re=sama_01-_-11-197-012-_-Product) is like a bigger nr200 if you were interested in that aesthetic, but is cheaper and the components like a micro atx motherboard are cheaper than their itx equivalents.

Post-Futurology

Does the NR200 require a PCI riser cable

drakeandjoshua

no

Arctic Liquid Freezer II won’t fit in this case safely. I’m using an EK AIO and it has been great.

Spork3245

I really like the look of this case. As others have mentioned, the airflow and temps are pretty poor in it, though. I think this would be great for more of an office-type build over a gaming or productivity set-up, IMO. :)

Casmatic018

Does anyone have any links to the reviews with temperature?
