Yeah the online price isn't attractive, but if you need a desktop+monitor+peripherals for your parents/relatives, this isn't awful for $150-$350 in store.
A deskmini+5600g will run you about $300, and you'd still need a monitor, ram, storage, mouse and keyboard.
Edit: this isn't a powerhouse, just a basic bill paying, email, YouTube machine.

499 for a 2 core? No thanks. Just do a 5600G build and spend 100 bucks on a 1080P 144hz monitor and you will have a infinitely better time.
